Good day everybody, I am facing over heating problem with my Mate 9 (after 3 weeks only from purchasing) specially when using Facebook Messenger for video call, is this ok or shall i return the device back?

I'm preferring bigger screen since I have get... morehi,i think you should go with the mate 9.The battery is amazing from the reviews I've watched.It has a larger display and hardly filled with big bezels.Go with any color that goes with what ur comfortable with.It has an app drawer and its good with games

Unfortunately no solutions found yet although I tried to do factory reset once again , my phone was considered ok for 2 days after reset. The phone can last for 10 hours under medium usage ( 2 hours idle, 3 hours opening data, 5 hours opening wifi , gmail and whatapps running in the background ). After 2 days, battery started to drain again like what i'm experiencing now, it drains 15% in airplane mode during my 6 hours sleep. I'm sure i do not have any apps running because i closed all the apps after screen was locked. Which is why i'm mulling should i trade in my Mate 9 for S8 .

Huawei Malaysia was nice enough to change my phone 1 to 1 the third time.
They keep saying that its a software issue...
Mine heats up time to time...
and sometimes in flight mode whilst I'm sleeping, it drains 20-30% of the battery. Own this phone about a week plus only and I am claiming it the third time from Huawei.
Ive consulted few other owners and what Ive experienced isn't normal. Thus far their unit is still ok. Mind you, mind is the the black version. Any solutions found thus far on your end?

Mate 9 or s7? I'm preferring bigger screen since I have get used to my super old Note 2. My daily using apps are very simple which are facebook, wechat, whatapps, etc. I want my apps running smoothly and phone battery that can last for at least 1 or 2 days. Besides, I'm not a heavy gamer and I plan to use this phone for 3 years. Can someone please kindly provide me a good advice?

Just got my mate 9, was testing the phone and realised and the left speaker is not working. Is it the same as the pixel xl which only has one speaker ?
Another problem I am facing is that sound if very disturbed. Shall i send the phone back or is it normal in this model ?

Obviously it'll cost more so the choices are more to if you can settle for the older Mate 8 and how much the cost figures in your decision. I have a Mate 9 and it's brilliant.
