I have a mate 9, LHA-09 uk model and its a great phone with outstanding battery life often lasting 2 days of heavy use, previous lg g4 and note4 only lasted a day with similar use, screen brightness and quality are excellent despite only being full hd. A few minor issues are sideways swipe sensitivity which is sometimes unresponsive, miss the swipe to delete messages a long press and then selecting delete is a step backwards, and when copying phone numbers into dialler there is no box to allow you to do this without first typing the first number then the box appears so you can paste into - but then you have to go back and delete the number you typed in to get the box to appear..cmon Huawei please sort.

Neens, 04 Jan 2017I've had the Mate 9 for a couple of weeks now. It is a wond... moreI'm also at the tail-end of 3 1/2 year experience with a Galaxy Note 3. I would have bought a Note 7 but...... Anyway, I'm looking for a replacement prior to the late launch of the S8 or Note 8 because my battery on the Note 3 just won't keep a charge and neither will any replacement I've tried. I do appreciate the removable battery because I've been able to limp along for the past 7 months with cheap battery replacements. I'm down to about one hour of use. I'd prefer to wait until the Note 8 but can't wait. The Huawei Mate 9 appears to be the best non-Samsung replacement. I'm worried about the font problem, the insensitive touch-screen and the notification issue (although I think that might only require an adjustment). Let me know if you think Mate 9 will last 3 1/2 years like my dear ol' Note 3 did. Cheers from Down Unda.

Better get informed before trash talking about a great brand like Huawei and promoting a former national like Motorola (actually Lenovo)
Also battery life of the Moto Z sucks !!!

hi guys i had mate 9 only a month old phone works great i just found issue with my phone in side the phone setting there is no font style change option try everything hard reset all things but wont work i love this phone so if any one have any suggestion about the issue please share (( LH -29 model international ))

Aldo, 27 Jan 2017Hasn't it radio? it's trash.Then download a 3rd party radio?! I used to have a MS phone and I was able to download a radio that didn't require internet connection on it. I think with Android you can also find one.

Supervai, 06 Feb 2017check out lowyat forum > anroid > mate 9This is weird because, I have it and had already droped it sometimes (felt like my heart was breaking when I did but nothing happened to the screen, my old galaxy s5 neo would have been dead already and it did)
In fact it got stuck yesterday beta weatermelon and a big bottle of soda, I promise won't do that again but the screen still survives, I have to say this phone is SOLID and clumsy proof :D

Is the brightness good enough?
It's really important for me.
I had LG phones and iPhones,and they have good 100% brightness and I really like it.
