hi guys , i am mate 9 user last one month i had great time with it but some how i feel i miss something which consistently teasing me what i miss why i miss phone is great as build quality but my main and very important concern is the touch sensitivity issue which bother me after using day by day its bad very bad i had lots of different phone past i using all the flagships phone so dont judge me as biased reviewer why mate 9 huawei using old gorilla glass 3 compare to the gorilla glass 4 gorilla glass 4 touch sensitivity more smoother than gorilla glass 3any way end of words yes mate 9 great phone i loved it i wish there is smooth touch expereance aswell but they missed it any way issue remain same its a manufectured fault huawei already knew it no software resolve it great phone end badly so sad

Phenomenal phone, just as good as the other flagships,better than some...it doesn't have touch problem it's more tactile like using an iPhone helps from accidentally opening things from barely touching them.

Page 57 of huawei mate 9 user manual has this info to tell you to change the font.
Changing the font size
1 Open Settings.
2 Touch Display > Font size and choose a font size.

Hi Guys..
I am using my mate 9 for more than a week but the battery last only for 1.5 days with normal use. I use wifi for 8hrs at home and 8hrs 4G at work. I only use Facebook and Whatsapp and no other apps are installed. I hope you can help me guys

Hello!
Can someone tell me is this phone is dual SIM "full active" or dual SIM - dual standby ?
Can you still receive calls when you are talking to one line ? I had in the past the Huawei Honor 6 Plus that was dual sim full active... Really a great phone was that.

I have been using Mate 9 for about a month. Everything works well. The battery is superb. It lasts for 3 days or more with normal usage. The screen is very good, I dont have touch problems. I recomend this phone. I'm very satisfied with it.

Anonymous, 11 Feb 2017Pity is is LCD not AMOLED... would be my new phone otherwise. IPS is more power efficient and has more correct colors than AMOLED. Trust facts rather than rumors and wide spread delusions. Check real tests on anandtech. In fact AMOLED is not as energy efficient as IPS. Also, good IPS ( not cheap ones) is better in terms of color reproduction. Vivid colors on AMOLED screens do not exist in real life and even so called "natural" setting doesn't help much.

My mate 9 battery sucks.It used to last 3days(heavy use)but now I hv2charge almos everyday.and the touch sensitivity not that smooth the fingerprint scanner is fast but not working sometimes.

I have always been a loyal Samsung smartphone consumer. However, I switched from my Note 3 that I used for 3 years to Mate 9 after intensive reviews and researches.
1 month experience:
Design is superb
Fast data connectivity
Strong inbuilt memory
Super fast charging (unbelievable)
Smooth (at times faces touch sensitivity issues)
Awesome pictures and video recording
Stylish too
Concerns:
1st two days of usage was as heavy as at present. But in the first 2 days, I only charged once and I still had around 20% left on the 3rd day with continously you tubing, clash of clans, social media etc.
Then came an update to fix touch sensitivity issue, and from thereon, I am charging my phone once or twice everyday. Else it doesn't last even with smart usage.
I love this phone Mate 9 so much and it would be great if any of you can advise me to rectify my battery problem.
Also, since yesterday, my phone has started lagging a bit too. :-( Damn!
With due respect, plz don't suggest me to download battery saver or 3rd part app.
Note: I deep clean my phone and always keep it optimised every now and then.
I don't use it as much as I did the first few days, still this battery problem is persistent.
