I checked yesterday for any system update and there was none.
However I did that just now when I became free and there is an update available but it is b156. I hope it still is better than b138.
I love this phone so much. It's just that battery life got on my nerves. First 3 days were awesome untill I got the update note which I did to b138.
I hope it gets better now. thanks again bro. Kind of you.
By the way if battery problem persists, I might go for Samsung C 9 Pro. It has better specs than Mate 9. But it ain't available in Paris atm :-(

Closing apps that have notificati... moreone huawei dealer told me the build number i was having is a bug which was B138, he told me to update to B158 which i did yesterday and i ignored the close on lock features, battery life improved significantly.It can last around 17 hours for heavy usage (having 3 Gmail account & 1 hotmail account , whatsapp , messenger , 2 news apps running at the same time )

overall great, but with some things i don´t like. I bought it because of the great 5.9" screen, which is not QHD, something the Samsung Note 5 already had when it was released 2 years ago. The 5.9" screen is actually more like 5.6" because the bottom buttons (back, multi-window and home) are now part of the screen and Huawei was stupid enough not to provide a way to make them disappear, they are always on, so you can´t have the 5.9" - unless you install a 3rd party app, but the app also blocks the keyboard when you need it, so not the best solution. Huawei should fix this. Also, no real double SIM slots, one is for the SD card, you can´t have 2 SIM cards + the SD card. The camera is great but the width of the image isn´t. Needs improvement in these areas, the rest is excellent.

Closing apps that have notification/push enabled just make it worst because it will consume more when it auto relaunch itself. Just forget the "close on lock" feature and leave the app on.

lionsheart, 21 Feb 2017Yes, it is dual SIM. But, the second SIM use the same space... morefor mate 9 pro, no memory card slot..so u only can use either 1 sim or 2 sim. Plus, u can add two account for whatsapp and other sosial media

super fast android device, super battery 2 days of low use 12 hour for high use, good cam not best but had alot of moods, awesome processing using kirin 960 so fast realy i like it

Hi, can anyone please tell me why my mate 9 battery is draining so fast ? After fully charge at 100% i just leave my phone there and just opening the wifi and no background behind..but the message of power intensive apps(facebook, wechat, whatsapp ) keep popping out. No matter how many times i killed it and put the apps to be closed after screen is locked, the apps still coming out in the background. Within 2 hour , my battery dropped nearly 15%.
