It wont have google play services and will have issues with google apps as the software doesnt allow or support it. My advice is try returning it to the seller and get your money back and buy the Global or International version

It’s a big, all-metal phone, with a very large piece of Gorilla Glass over the display, so the extra weight isn’t a shock. This whopping size doesn’t apply to the fingerprint sensor, which is below the camera lens on the rear. It’s actually quite small and is completely obscured by my fingertip. It’s no bad thing, and the accuracy can’t be faulted.

No mention of Gorilla Glass or any kind of scratch resistant glass on here and Huawei's website. Anybody know any info on the glass being used in this phone?

I bought mate 9 last week ohhh what a killer device loved it hugely impressed more used more love Amazing experience awesome screen who complain about only HD no qhd absolutely amazed with the screen quality brilliantly done by huawei hats off absolutely loved it)))) camera top notch no complaints battery no word to describe build quality amazingly superb)))))))) I like to keep changing my phone within 2 to 3 month time but this one is the beauty with beast so I stick with it)) go grab yourself guys you won't regret it you loved it all the way thanks for reading ))))

I love the Mate 9, but the only problem it has is with YouTube and Facebook videos, they suddenly stop playing. They start working again just fine when I restart the device.
And the sound system. If I enable screen lock sound for example, the phone suddenly stops making any sound when I lock the screen. And after heavy use it stops notification tone by itself.
Other than that, the phone is perfect. And the battery life is just amazingly long.

Rhe battery lasts for more than 24hrs with me, playing YouTube videos and using Facebook all day long. And ever since I got this phone, ot never felt overheated.
