Ruk, 31 Dec 2016Why did you throw it?The awesome advertisements got me good and convinced me to buy it. Actually their marketing is beautiful. But I actually threw it because it's very disappointing. The camera, the ui and software needs optimization. It felt like owning a rebranded phone with apples price. So I went on and had the s7 edge. Nothing feels like having top tier devices.
Also my back up and trap phones are a9 pro and xperia xz. Happy Holidays!

Which we need to go and root our phones to get it for other brand, or need to specially put in by the company only for Myanmar Market, but for Huawei no matter where I bought it, language was coded into the firmware. I can use it out of the box. The Huawei Swype Keyboard you can use more than 4 languages to type,no need to change to other keyboard nor download any 3rd party keyboard like sougou. Please look into the keyboard features carefully. From EMUI 3.0 it had coded into the firmware, EMUI 4.0 they just refined it. so in EMUI 5.0 it will just get perfected. If the language is not supported it will not even shown on your screen. You will only see squares or Rubbish on your smartphone.

Own a mate 9 for few days.but I still prefer Samsung note series..I owned a note 4 before it was stolen 1wk ago..JUST MY OPINION...1)Samsung smart stay is quite useful to me at least when I'm using the phone it won't go black on me...I tried to play games on mate 9 while I was waiting for the game to load it goes black...I hv to touch the power button to get the screen back...I know I can set longer time to locked phone but smart stay win 1 points...2)there are no launguage pack that I want I hv to actually download apps like sougou etc to be able to type in other languages I want...Samsung came with chinese and Korean...huawei known as china phone but no Chinese language?thats disappointing....3)the speaker is not that good compare to Samsung,LG...4)some sides of the screen r not responsive on mate 9....
But if you want a longer lasting batt go for mate9.cameras I can't compare since note 4was stolen...
4000mah on mate 9 mine last for 1 and a half day..note 4 for heavy user n workaholic like me I hv to charge almost everyday with the ori batt came with this phone two years ago...I used note1 before not even two years ori batt dilate forced to hv batt changed...people r saying Samsung phone lag but maybe I'm lucky my note 4 never lag..I'm very satisfied with it but I can't find a new one here...if second hand,is better that I change new phone so while waiting for rumor note 8 I try mate 9 first.I'm not fans of Samsung but a fan of Samsung note 4(note1-3 batt drain very fast very lag while note5 no sd card slot so out..)I hope note 8 can impress me and don't go boom like note7...

2) 90%? Source, please.
3) Nope. Stick with 1080p until we get bigger and better batteries.
4) Another reason why it is cheap, because of the build quality.
5) It actually is very comparable to the S7's camera, and it is currently one of the phones with the best cameras out there.
And no, I am not being paid by Huawei. I wish I was, though. lol

I own the s7edge and the huawei mate 9 and can therefore compare both phones. The mate 9 is currently the best phablet available. The phone has a very good display, is very smooth, battery life is excellent, 2 to 3 days depending on use and app settings. The speakers dont disappoint.The camera is generally very good although the s7edge has a slight upperhand when it comes to low light. However, therefore the camera of the mate 9 offers lots of extras, like photo light always on which can be helpful in dim light if you dont want to use flash. Both phones are in my opinion the best you can get in the market at the moment. The S7edge is also outstanding and would appeal to those that like smaller phones. All comes down to personal preferences. Big or small screen, IPS or super Amoled screen. Battery life of s7edge is also 2days. The mate 9 runs on the latest software nouget whereas the s7edge will most likely get the new firmware beginning of 2017. I also have to commend Samsung for the regular security updates.

Honestly speaking if you are seeking a good phone go for a mate 9 numbers do matter and here the mate 9 tops it but the mate optimizes and mixes all the good stuff for a really smooth Android experience and after usage you'll get what this phone is all about its about incredible battery life it has some awesome speakers you'll enjoy listening to its speakers and the camera is stunning stunning and the software is easy to use don't really be afraid because it's so easy I'm writing this review because you're gonna love your smartphone after using this phone thumps up Huawei

IMO i feel ashamed on this device
no IP water resistance rating for a flagship.
battery life not as great as any other even worst than mi5s plus (half of it's pricetag).
no 2k screen(for what having Mali G71 the latest GPU but on 1080p only?)
without any hardkey(softkey onscreen very irritating) (offcoz saving cost for that LOL)
last but not least it's not cheap at all!
