stupid purchase from my younger years. it wasn't cheap. more of an image. 2 years later had problems with the battery. Never again

I remember when this phone was new and there was an internal fight between android users, basically saying if you didn't have a Nexus 6p you were "inferior". Not so good times...

Good on Realme for taking some pointers from Huawei.

I'm joking, the Realme GT 2 Pro is vile.

It is an old phone now. I have two of them. One which I use to permanently display the weather and one associated with my cardiac monitor. Both excellent phones for what they are doing but I wouldn't rely on them day-to-day for much because the battery has never been very good at lasting and I have replaced one over the years (and broke my screen in doing so and forked out for another). They are worth spending a little money on to keep going for what I need because the display is still excellent for detail even compared with modern up-to-date ones. Mine both run LineageOS with Android 10. Who says you can't keep an old phone going. If you feel competent then I would save everything off the phone and change to LineageOS to keep the phone going. If it is failing anyway then you have nothing to lose and much to gain. You will have an excellent standby device for simple communication.

My Nexus 6p is now giving me problem, Sometimes when am playing music or when received loud notifications sound, My phone will trip off and on back, Then will ask me for password which i didn't know, If i try putting any password, my phone will reset itself and everything on my phone will disappear. Please who knows what the problem is? Thanks and one love 😍

It's just so ironic to see that Google and Huawei worked together on a phone.

Please how do I fix mine it has a bad loop mode

Bought back in 2015 and used for a year. accidently drove my car over it. the screen was history and it was bend like the galaxy round... but the phone worked fine otherwise.
Got my self a pixel and fixed the screen and girlfriend used it for a while. A year later went to bootloop. Took it to the retailer and they replaced it free of cost with a mate 10 pro.!!!!

People having overheating and battery issues pls downgrade to stock Marshmallow. If you don't know then take it to some mobile shop and have it done for you. Also check for some application eating into your phone battery. Chinese snoopy apps like SHAREit are notorious for that reason.

Had a nexus 6p for a bit. battery ended up with horrible issues to the point where it needed to be connected to a power source at all times to stay on and eventually wouldn't turn on at all. It was *technically* good aside from the battery problem (ie camera and other features) but that was a major issue. There were also, to my recollection, some issues with overheating

I have used this phone around 3 years, and satisfied with its design, high ppi screen, dual speakers and great camera.
                              BUT!!!
Snapdragon 810 is the only and ultimate stain on it. The overheating issue is incredible. Here is my scenario: I soaked a cloth into water, and wrung it a bit to avoid dripping but still wet, and put that directly under the rear of phone. After playing some game for around 45 minutes, the side of cloth touching the phone would become completely DRY, and the entire cloth be warm too. As another result, the battery would be drained out extremely quick.
Eventually I got refund of $325 through legal claim, and threw the phone into trash bin.
