only one thing be careful around the camera area, was a bit forceful and l broke it, no big deal for me, still works and could not be bothered replacing it (camera screen)

I am still rocking this phone and want to buy the Pixel 4a soon. I was glad to have this 1440p beauty. But the age has really made it slower.
With us getting extremely long-lived phones i do wish for more software support. Maybe android one can deliver a more unified approach to cut cost and deliver timely patches (not for this phone of course).

Agreed with previous post, Loved this phone. After losing updates about a year ago, I feel better about running something newer now. I'm still going to keep it around.

They are original with severe battery degredation, and the same defects you hope a new battery will fix. I got a 4000mah from a newer model off eBay and now get 8 hours of screen on time.

My phone's battery have died too.. then I replace the battery ..bought from ifixit at 25$. Installation charge was 6$ only in my country (Bangladesh)..
I have previously installed the custom rom from Pixel experience before replacing the battery..
But it made my phone too much .then I thought it would also affect my new battery..then again I went for my last stock rom with last security patch..
Now my phone is working fine..
The battery from ifixit is not like the the new one but it is good than others..
I will request you all that you should use stock rom for better performance

Bought it in 2015. Honestly, it's been the best cell phone I've ever had. But its showing its age. The speaker sound is muted now with age. I had to replace the battery last year. Quickly after that. The finger print stopped working. I chalked that up to opening the phone for battery replacement. Now, the replaced battery might be failing. As the phone restarts all the time. Also,the charge % changes. Time to look for a new phone. I wont buy another Hauwei since they are owned by the (PLA/CCP)Communist Chinese. I'm sure BMW was awesome during the NAZI era. But I still wouldn't buy one. I did get my money out of it though. It's Sammy S10+ now.
