bholaji, 13 Jan 2016If you have updated go 6.0.1 then do factory reset once.Mos... moreThanks bholaji, Atleast you took time to respond. Poor forum, everyone wants to keep saying its a best phone instead of supporting and responding to each others issues.
Anyways, I thought of giving it away, but took a chance to take it to the service center. They reinstalled eveything and started working fine. So anyone have issues with battery after trying basic steps, just visit the nearest service center and have the software reinstalled (I know huawei service centers are poor in customer service, ). I had to wait at service center for 3 hours with hardly any customers in queue just to get software reinstalled but worked out for me.

Gowtham, 17 Jan 2016Hi friends, I need a basic information about nexus 6p. ... moreHi Gowtham - People are not realistic in most of the forum, they just want keep saying the phone is great, no lags, no freezing or crashing of apps, no heating etc. To be honest every dam phone heats up during gaming and a bit during usage. But if ur phone is heating so badly that you cannot hold it, go for a replacement. If its just warms or heats up a bit after a 15 - 20 minutes gaming, its absolutely normal. To be presize, no phone is brand of perfect!!

AnonD-489284, 16 Jan 2016This person is right on... I'm a week into ownership and on... moreThis resolution race has brought more damage than benefits to the modern smarphones. There are only few manufacturers who tried to impress instead by incorporating better cells with better mAh. I really loved the 720p over 1020p (one would want) on my 4.6" xperia z3 c and the battery life was really so unbelievable!

Get most my data at work from LTE and at home in WiFi. I have Bluetooth on for headphones and car. I barely make it to the end if the day. My son watched Netflix this weekend morning and my battery is at 40% at 9:15 from a full charge at 615am. I have the screen all the way down and have it dimming at 30 seconds. Using all the tricks I found online to extend life. I do t feel like I should have to use tricks after paying out hundreds of dollars!!!

Google should learn a thing or two from Huawei:
1. The 1440x2560 (518ppi) resolution is plain OVERKILL for the 5.7" display.
It only wastes battery and lowers the overall processor performance.
I can't see distinct pixels in my 6.0" mate 7 (1080p resolution) even 4 inches
away from my eyes (I'm very nearsighted). Those who claim to see 'pixelation'
from the lower resolution display of Mate 7 (1080p) vs. other 4K phones do so
because of the 'PLACEBO' effect. 4K only matters if you are into virtual reality
using some VR goggles close to your phone's display.
2. The battery is too small for a phone this power hungry. 4000 mAh should be the
minimum standard for any smartphone nowadays. Games and browsing will drain
2000 - 3000+ mAh batteries in less than 4 hours even starting at 100%.
What's the point of having a gorgeous display and powerful phone if it is dead before
lunch time? And no, don't tell me to always bring the 'fast' charger and/or powerbank
everyday. That's just too many things to carry and one that becomes a burden.
And no, fast charging is a poor compromise for a big battery.
3. Dual SIM. Modern smartphones should at the bare minimum, provide dual SIM support.
One SIM for cheaper data package and another SIM for cheaper phone calls and text
package --- or one sim for home and another for work or for local and international
travel to save on roaming data. There are plenty other uses for two SIMs and the latest
Android versions support them, so why limit one's flexibility?
4. SD card. SD card support is very useful for people who love to have the entire music collection, HD movie collection and photo collection in their PC's, available anytime, anywhere even without data connection. They can mirror or screencast (wifi-direct) the movies and photos to any TV anywhere they go, no internet connection needed!
Besides, smartphones nowadays offer ever increasing camera resolutions (18 MP+) and ever increasing video resolutions (4K) which will devour a standard 32 GB internal storage in no time, so why not provide SD card support?
