So, I've had this phone for about a month now and I can give you a few of my own observations:
1. Screen on time is about 4-5.5 hours on Google Fi service. Wifi is on, cell data is off (but cell radio is still on). Checked with GSam.
2. The phone is thin up until the camera bump near the top but not much thicker.
3. The phone is FAST but gets warm (especially the screen) and I've seen temps of up to 104 degrees in my pocket being out in the world with an ambient temp of around 80-85 degrees F. I have not seen it freeze up or throttle even with gaming (yet).
4. The camera is awesome! I am no expert on camera quality but it blows my old HTC ONE M8 out of the water.
5. The dual front facing speakers are great. Not as good as Boomsound on HTC phones (it does not sound as "full") but are still very nice.
6. The phone feels nice in hand but slippery. I have small hands (incoming jokes) and just feels like a monstrous phone in my pocket.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask me directly.
Model information: Aluminum, 128GB on Google Fi Service. Manufactured date is 10/20/15. I am fully stock and not rooted.

Can i just ask, what is the battery like?
I am currently debating between the G4, Edge Plus and this. I love G4 for its customization features, love the Edge for its design, but the 3450 mAh on this seems pretty cool...so?

The smartphone has an internal storage of 32/64/128GB, with this storage, will you even need a SD card? Dual sim you say? Popular or original smartphones don't have a dual sim smartphone and why will you need to remove the battery? It is better that the battery is protected inside.

Been reading there are a lot of comments from people who are thinking of getting this phone but are scared off by all the negative reaction the phone is getting from the media as of late. I know I can't speak to everyone's experience with the phone but I'll give you my honest take on it having used it for about 16 days so far:
Let's address the elephant(s) in the room. For the average person who doesn't put their phone into their back pocket, rest assured this phone is very well made. It's sturdy and I can't imagine the phone bending in half if you take care of the phone like you would any of your other electronic devices. If you feel the need to put your phone in your back pocket and accidentally sit down on it, yes it may break. As would virtually any other phone. But believe me when I say this, the phone is built extremely well. You should have no problems with it if you take care of it and treat it like you just spent hundreds of dollars for it.
The second thing is the back glass "mysteriously" breaking by itself. So far 0 issues with it, and again, if you take care of your phone and realize that if you put lots of pressure on it something will most likely break. I think it's either Nexus 6P owners who don't treat their phone with respect and drop it on the table forgetting there's glass on the backing, or end up sitting on it because it's in their back pocket because I don't see any way the back glass would just crack on it's own...
The third issue regarding the microphone, this is a valid complaint for me as well. When I'm talking on the phone I have virtually no issues. The sound is crisp to me, I've asked the person I'm speaking with they say there's no problems on their end as well. However, after putting the phone on "speaker mode" during Hangouts and Whatsapp VOIP calls, while the person on my end sounds very clear, to them they can barely hear me and say that I sound "10 feet away from the phone". Whether this is a software or hardware issue I'm quite interested in seeing how they address it.
The Nexus 6P is an incredible device. Outside of that one issue, as long as you can get used to the size of a "phablet" this is the best Android phone money can buy. There's tons of reviews (c'mon gsmarena) and most seem to reflect the fact that this is a phone with very little to complain about, and I concur.
Again, just don't put your phone in your back pocket.

The nexus has always been a good phone, the google engineers make this phone, huawei just provides the hardware, since google is not a hardware company. Please improve your knowledge.

1, 21 Nov 2015Not worth! Back glass of 6P easily get shatter! This phone is well built and won't shatter easily. I own the device and my kids have used it. It's silly to say its not worth the money. Try using the device. I would say for the price this is the best android device ever made.
