My screen is a mess.
It chips easily when bumps with an object even with the case, because it's sticking out from the body.
It's a big deal.
Once it cracks, you will find that aint worthy enough to replace it for price wise.

So far the best phone I had in a mid class range and have no intention to change it. I've been using it for almost two years and it still performs with perfection. With latest update to EMUI 12 it runs faster, smoother and without any legging. Excellent phone, and important to mention, one of the latest Huawei models with Google support. Camera is as good as with higher class models, battery still keeps whole day with frequent use, Kirin 980 is still revealing it's potentials.

1_ what is the android version in Emui 12?
2_ how much was the package size?
3_ share your opinions about the phones fluency and performance changes
And lastly_ has battery life improved or is it the same as before?

Finnaly emui 12.I am from balkan region.I has using 1 day and i can tell recomment to install,everthing work verry well and fast no laging so far.for baterry site i thing is the same as in emui 11.

iirc the P10's were the newest that allowed bootloader unlocking, wasn't free though

By the way, you can unlock the bootloader if you want (some people can do it.....at least in my country) but I wouldn't recommend it.... you'll lose a lot of things {at least for nova 5t}

I found a way to force-update to EMUI 12 for devices that haven't received it, (it worked for my Nova 5T for my case)
1. My Huawei app --> Settings --> Change region --> Change to China
2. Get a VPN from the Google Play Store, (i used malaysian vpn) and connect to it
3. Check for updates through the My Huawei app, (It won't work if you check through Settings) and the update should show up after a longer than usual checking time
(You technically can disconnect from the VPN once you started the download, but i'd recommend only doing that once you updated)
P.S. Once you update, remember to clear cache from EMUI 11 to maintain performance

THIS PHONE as for hardware is quite good.
Fast, acceptable cameras, good display, good value overall.
But the bummer is that I can't flash another ROM for real debloating (adb doesn't help much for some system app).
And the background process killing of EMUI is indeed aggressive no matter how much I tried to tweak, for that some chat app keeps giving me error as couldn't send msg (other phone has no problem) and was real frustrated.
So for overall benefit, I had to go with Poco x3 nfc for cheaper price even though Nova 5T clearly was performing faster.
