I'm using a Huawei Nova 9 as my main phone, and i love it... Screen is nice, camera and performance is great... Also the reason i love Huawei is because of EMUI which is very fast, minimal bugs compared to others and really can last long even it has a small battery... There's no Google and playstore, but its not a big deal, i got all my app easily using app gallery and petal search...

is this phone will get 5g unlocked through software update?

Anonymous, 11 Apr 2022nova 9 or A52s 5G pls i need quick answerObviously if you want GMS you have to go with the Samsung, although i personally prefer Huawei in terms of software.So it depends on the price, if you can get the Nova 9 at good price go for it, it's very good phone,i have it and I'm very pleased with it, the display is great, very good battery life,the charging is very fast too and the processor is good for gaming too.

Great phone, upgraded from the P20 Pro,got the nova 9 at good price. Love the high refresh rate, the display, the processor is very fast too, battery life is very good,camera is pretty good too. It's a bit of a hassle to transfer all the data from a phone with Google, but it's worth it.

I own Poco F3 Pro and it is totally disappointing. Some bloatware here and there, sending a video to Whatsapp met some prob and to square this prob, it has to be send from the gallery itself and here u are trying to say Nova is worse off. I really wanna laugh out loud. Im going to get Huawei in the 3rd or 4th quarter.

This phone doesn't cost that much, G space is not forced, there is a paid version of g space without ads and every one said that this phone has a good main camera and a good display. You should know what you are getting into. And they are not evil nor selfish, they are a company.

Einstein, 22 Mar 2022I have nova 9 , and I'm very disappointed and unsatisf... moreAndroid 11 is old my guy, most of the bloatwares are uninstallable, I am actually using the nova 9 for 3 months and I am really satisfied with this device, actually all of the banking apps from my country is available, and I am not a gamer and I got most of the social media apps working, for me this device is good, hell no, don't compare this device with poco, remember Huawei is the only brand that can provide you 3 years os updates and atleast 5 years security updates

I have nova 9 , and I'm very disappointed and unsatisfied. I though its better than POCO X3 PRO, because of amoled display and the balance of chipset. Hell, its 2X price of poco x3 PRO and almost 2X more expensive than POCO f3. But all i can see is trash, the screen is ok but its not even HDR10+, that POCO F3 have only HDR10.... it priced, 480 USD in my country and I regret it... I hoped I buyed POCO F3 instead....!!!! at first i'm okay with the specs of NOVA 9, but when i have it its like a trash its crappy... its full of bloatware and ads and old UI with no playstore... and they will force you to install gspace, which also full of ads.... THIS COMPANY IS SELFISH... THIS IS EVIL.

I've been using nova 9 for a month now nothing wrong with it I charge every second day i use it heavily with video streaming 7-8 hours every day still the battery lasts more than a a day 2-3 hours of phone calls what's app 1-2 Facebook my is using Samsung s21n she complained about her battery only lasting half a day n I don't even switch off my Wi-Fi

No doubt Huawei is still better quality build regardless of Google. I am using this. its very slim and very smooth touch. and camera result is far far better than Xiaomi or any other so called hype brands.

According to StatCounter.com at... moreYou may have given up on huawei and sony but what I've noticed for the past 2 years is that innovation has slowed down a lot. How did we go from huge generation upgrades to companies launching the same phone twice (oneplus, Samsung, Sony). Only companies innovating was huawei.
Think about it, 10x periscope, attention display, big sensors for ultra wide.
Also it's quite odd basing your opinion on data found on Google about a not available outside China OS and China is a country Google doesn't reach. (and real percentage is 4%)

I bought this Phone since January, very satisfying, I can run Whatsapp, using Google browser, Gmail, Twitter, Telegram, Google map, everything about Google. Just don't have a Google Play Store, but I can download any apps from Huawei apps Gallery.

Your Harmony OS does not even exist outside the Asian market and assuming that it is in the "unknown" category of 0.1%.
Or in this field of the telecom market, and where every 3 months a new model appears that offers something extra, if you miss the start, you can't even show up. For example, here is what happened to Nokia, LG, HTC, BlackBerry, Alcatel, Sony, Sagem and the list goes on.
At this moment Huawei with a sigh of relief manage to launch 1-2 phone models annually and those without 5G, without Google and at really insensitive prices, as is the case of the P50 range or phones equipped with processors worthy of the years 2018 - 2019 so such as the Nova 8i.
P.S. - Rather than throwing money at this Nova 9, you better focus on Honor 50, which is the same phone only offers access to 5G technology and the Google package.
