Had the same doubt, went for the p10.
S7 edge is a stunner but it is more expensive to buy.
P10 (even my ugly gold one) is ok, much more compact and lighter, less expensive and it was a huge surprise when it comes to performance and photo capabilities. This thing at night with a tripod are amazing cameras!
One of my concerns with the EDGE is this: we all know the screen can break and what will it happen when it does? how expensive is it to replace? I would assume a lot is the answer.
Besides, P10 as a great battery and an insanely fast charger! Go for it!

I really like the OnePlus devices, as well as other ones, but they are huge for using them with one hand. The P10 offers a good balance of compact size, features, and price.

Apart from Android 8.0, do you think this is going to receive more future Android updates? I am coming from stock Android and I wouldn't like to get stuck at an older Android version in two years.

Battery not good. Normal usage makes it warm, gaming makes it really hot.
