You think this phone can still wait for security patches, has anyone heard anything? I started thinking about replacing the phone, to be honest, it has served me well since September 2018, but I feel that it is already getting old, both technologically and software. But during all these years there have been no serious problems.

This smartphone is the best, I have changed the battery 2 years ago, now I have it for almost 5 years and still works perfectly, my phone never crashed in this time, it is normal that the new smartphones are better and faster but still I recommend this phone to everybody. The calls sound it is perfect and very clear.

Sam, 05 Jun 2023Had my phone since June 2018 and still going strong. Its on... moreI've had mine for 4 years. The battery life has gone to sh*t, but that was to be expected. I wasn't planning on replacing it anytime soon, but today the fingerprint sensor died... But it was a great phone, and well worth the money.

Had my phone since June 2018 and still going strong. Its one of the few good Huawei phones that still have the Google PlayStore.
Only had to replace my battery in December of Last year, due to it expanding.
I will only replace if it gives in or they remove the Google playstore.

A 22.5w phone will never go faster than that just slower as it reaches higher levels

The other phone doesn't have google play
You should probably avoid Huawei phones

whats maximum charge level ? 22,5w or more ?

Anonymous, 12 Feb 2023My battery also expanded after 2 and a half yearsMine did too around 2 years. Just had it replaced in their service center which cost me around Php500.00. I still use mine but I'm considering to replace the battery again just to be safe since I am beyond the 2 year mark.

Still using mine and it is very much alive. The only issue really is the battery, which I had already replaced once (2020, I think). Presently, a single charge can still last me a day with moderate use (Spotify, YT, call/sms) though this will drop significantly when playing games (bought a cheaper Infinix for that). For sure I will have to replace the battery again this year. All in all, this was such a good buy.

I also have it for almost 5 years from now, and it still perform strong on daily usage. Battery lasts almost a day. I'm in big doubt what's next device for upgrade as much as same quality and performance as P20 Pro...

I can't really dislike this phone but for me I can't see any reason to buy this phone if you can buy a Mate 10.
Mate 10 win me over with sd card, 3.5 headphone jack and a better form factor.
