Hudinited, 30 Mar 20184K at 60Fps takes too much of memory, drains battery and he... moreI used to own a Sony z5 premium, the first 4k display on a smartphone I'm aware of how it works. Shooting 4k was a trouble back then because of the heating problem, memory consumption and to add even DSLR's can't even take them, why? Because of the chip, DSLR's lacks powerful chip that processes 4k. Sony's approach back then was to used the SD 810 which was the SoC that was capable that time, it was not perfect as I remember got a lot of overheating when taking video's at 4k and FPS actually drops at times but it was a great phone. What Sony did change the mobile industry in more ways I could say, competitors followed it others made it even better.
As a part of this community I understand that you're just trying to help or simply giving your opinion but I'm going to disagree with your statement that "smartphones just not completly ready for it", it is because we have the technology that does it. Its just not perfect yet, but it works. For a phone to have 4k support it has to have powerful chip and the Snapdragon 845 is more powerful than the Kirin 970 and in order for it to play it has to have a powerful GPU Adreno 630 is more capable than Mali-G72 MP12. The s9 Exynos 9810 you mentioned is actually capable of 120fps at 4k, you are correct though that it's limited, as is all phones at the time being.
The very reason I'm considering getting this phone is because of the sample photos I've seen. The photos has less noise than any other phones I've seen which is really impressive and also the list I have said in my first comment. This phone sure is very interesting but we'll just have to wait for the full review.

5z does not have an AMOLED display. It has an OLED one.

Difference, 29 Mar 2018Camera should be better in different situations and light n... morei appreciate that you a die hard fan of this brand add me on mail and i will buy you this phone when it will be released or i can buy you dslr if the only that you want is camera. been working on cameras over the past years until now. mp's is not the thing if the rest part of the camera is good like optics/lenses is good. dxo is not the only one has the ability to test cameras with all possible usability of smartphone camera. every camera testers have different protocols maybe the protocol of dxo is a fan of this device thats why they've got the images good. but i think the old phones still got it until now. lots of people that have it knows and the good reviewers speaks big about it. this is pricey phone for a lot of people but for me its not because i can manage. in addition research on isocell vs. leica vs. pureview+ziess. have a great day.

It proves that smartphones just not completly ready for it. So better restrict it than mess up with whole lineup...Also 30Fps is very watchable it just dont lags...

Just saw a side by side pic from twitter of a camera sample between P20 Pro and a S9+ and holy smoke, P20 Pro's cam is just another level.

Quill!, 30 Mar 2018- MI Mix 2s will be cheaper than P20 pro. - P20 pro will h... more970 will run any game u can download for next 2 years for sure without troubles... so dont worry about that... even 820 is still so smooth...Also with xiaomi u can forget on Android update or you will get it after 7 months...
