If you take an Iphone and P20 to the mud and press them there together, after removing it, you may not be able to distinguish where those footprints belongs to. But...putting them on your hand and looking at it under perceivable lighting conditions..it a WOW for HUAWEI trust me.

I suggest, wait for at least 6 months and we are sure that the price will settle down after Huawei completes their return of investment.

Actually i cant understand complains about price and memory slot. Phone will be cheaper than S9+ and iPhone X... also offers bigger battery,higher res photo with LEICA branded lens and some kind of unique design... ok notch is iPhones thing but hey this phone have fingerprint reader on front also with option to hide that notch and you will still have big screen...Also Huawei's fast charger is way faster than iPhone or Samsung's one...Huawei still pack IR blaster in it. And speaking about memory it's much safer to keep your photos and vids on OTG Flash Drive or Cloud than on the SD card. Also huawei update their flagships few months before Samsung. So any other reason to complain?

I think I'm going to wait for the Mate 11/20 to come out. That one will have the newer processor, in-display and rear fingerprint sensor, AI and 4,000+ mAh battery. Hopefully it will be offered unlocked in the US and it comes in that beautiful Twilight color option. IDGAF what Cheeto and his cronies say. I have nothing to hide from the Chinese government, so I don't care if they spy on me. Google spies on everyone anyway. They already know what kind of porn I watch, so wtf-ever.
The US is just mad that Huawei isn't allowing them to have a backdoor into their phones. If they were so concerned, they would have banned OnePlus phones from being sold in the US, especially after OnePlus was actually CAUGHT trying to spy. No one hears anything about that, though, right? Oh, and people should really ask themselves: why isn't Samsung allowed to sell Exynos phones here in the US? It's because Samsung doesn't want to give the US any information either! That's why they only sell Qualcomm phones here, because Qualcomm is in bed with the US government. So it's ok if the US spies on everyone, but no one can spy on us. Hypocrites.

One point seems these firms don't understand that is the price- I understand you do have a good product; but please try to realize to social value and software polishness of your phone. Why on earth, you want me to spend so much money for a phone whereas I do have a better social value (branded phone) on the market that might increase attention or even works much more aligantly than this one.
Take out: Please sell a phone at considerably lower price (not too much lower), so that it can make a push to my mind that I do even consider.

One question I can't find an answer to, what's the maximum resolution (in pixels) we can expect from the 40Mp camera? I read somewhere that the jpg file we get is only 10Mp, is that so? From the camera samples I've seen, they are only 9.5Mp in resolution (3648x2736 pixels).

I find it camera configuration funny
has 3 lense+sensor unitts
the most tele is supposed to give you 3 x image of the widest
But 40MP/ 8 MP = 5 :)
