I have had previous Huawei devices and never had issues with the service in my country. Also I do believe these phone companies give better service depending on the devices you own.

I work for a phoneshop (for a big mobile provider in the UK) - this brand is painful. Its got some blind allegiance similar to Apple - for some reason people are attracted by it because they see them as the underdog and are blinded by the specs on paper (Apple banks on image, not specs).
I can't explain how many people have issues with these phones. Myself included (I owned the P20 Pro for 3-4 months). There are more glitches in Huawei high end devices (P30 Pro, Mate 20 Pro, P20 Pro, etc) than there were glitches in low end and mid range Samsung circa 2013.
No other provider has more people coming back with issues. And for some odd reason, just like with Apple, they don't want to admit that there is something at fault with this company's devices - it's always our fault (the network provider) or Trump's or whoever, but not dear Huawei.
I hope they get their stuff together.

Very minimal top and very big chin? What's the point of removing the headphone jack if you can't maximize the purpose of its removal.
And please, learn some stuffs about the camera. Huawei's color rendering is bad. All people who says that the color rendering of Huawei is good clearly don't know anything about photos. Also the video recording? Shaky much.

This is where I can say I found the best "Camera" phone. If you want "Gaming" phone buy ROG/Blackshark. Stop the hate of brand wars, each brands have their pros and cons.

My P30 pro suddenly turned off and now its in boot loop (Huawei Logo). I tried the volume up/down plus power button and nothing happens.
This happened after updating to 9.1.0.185 (C432E4R2P2)

I have a HUAWEI Y9 (2019). Since the phone has some problems, so I do a factory reset.
After the reset, I cannot change the notification sound for the message and Gmail anymore.
I went to the service centre for help. After taking more than two hours there, they did nothing to my phone but just downloaded WhatsApp and WeChat to the phone and said that it has no problem.
The technician said that it is normal for the phone that cannot change the notification sound because the device is like that at the beginning.

So why are you here. They both have opinion pages as well. Also you previously stated that you have had numerous amount of devices yet only have minimal amount of user experience and only knowledge you have read off the tech sites!!!

Anonymous, 18 Aug 2019I think your comment should be removed as you are clearly t... moreActually I agree with him when it comes to ugly design (mate 20 pro design lot better), when you use camera with AI it does shows artificially oversaturated colors even at low light photos and this issue since P20 Pro nothing new, video aren’t that good wither 1080P@60fps or 4K@30fps not that good looks like 24fps instated of 30fps.

The fact that you described it as an ugly device when it clearly looks similar to other flagship brands is a give away. Still loving this device, battery has stayed strong since day one. Camera has improved even better with updates. The phone has no lag or heating issues.

I bought this phone since its release, and it sucks. I hate that I impulsively bought it. Ugly design and starts getting slow. Updates are too few. Garbage customer service. USELESS PHONE. Camera color rendering is trash. video is trash. sound is trash.
