This phone is great. I've used Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Samsung S10+, both phones have terrible batteries. I have to recharge it 2 times a day. But now, after buying Huawei P30 Pro, finally I found the right phone for me. P30 Pro has an amazing battery life, super-fast charging (3% - 100% only 58 minutes), great cameras, and super smooth. Huawei is the best

From a User who has owned Galaxy S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6 Edge +, S8+ and now proud owner of Mate 20 pro and P30 Pro. Let me tell you it's no mid range phone. Screen quality, camera quality, battery life. Fast charge, and reverse charge. Finger print behind screen and flawless biometrics. And over all phone performance.. Second to none..

How do you work that out when the Kirin 980 out performed the exynos variant of the S10, this years flagship from Samsung. Take a look at Gary Sims test between the Exynos version of the Samsung vs the Kirin 980. Also 40w charge which a excellent battery life 8gb ram wireless charge plus a lot more. These don’t seem to be midrange. The device works flawlessly with no lag, not midrange and I doubt you even owned one. Just trying to promote the new note 10 that hasn’t been released to the consumer yet.

I bought it some months before and hopefully i sold it today. It is a mid range smartphone with high end photography. So it is same as to buy a mid range camera (DSLR) and a mid range smartphone. Why to do it on myself? I will buy Note 10 as i believe it is a more complete phone. This year Samsung changed their SoC for a second time and offer a really premium choice as i will have a top level at all the things i use. The screen is also important as i use Netflix more usually than i am taking pictures so i will love it.

humans are the most unreliable sense of information, there will always be some sense of bias. If you want to know a phones specs it’s easy to find out. But to ask which is best is like asking someone if they like marmite. iOS vs android.... if you are wanting to get a new device look for yourself, as I have listened to people telling me what to purchase in the past and regretted it. My personal decision was to get the p30 pro because a great battery life and camera was important to me, but that was my personal opinion and not influenced by a cult following such as a lot (not all) Samsung and apple users

Both are great phones.
If you want the stylus pen experience and some extra productivity, go for note 9.
Go for P30 pro for that amazing cameras, 5x zoom & slightly better battery life.
Other than that, there are not much differences between them, I guess.

Note 9 is mentioned as the best phone in reasonly....i trust this because i have got a huawei phone before and that phone is the worst mobile which i've ever used..
