For example when I play "Car parking multiplayer", the phone temperature goes up to over 50 degrees Celsius even with the phone cooler was activated. And also when I use the phone's camera for a 1 minute, it just gets hot. Really hot. But the overheating problem occurs only in summer time. And the other cons is that the battery life is not good. The phone's screen on time is only 2 hours 30 minutes. I always turn on the GPS and high brightness. So I need to charge it 3 times a day. If you are going to use P50 pro only in winter time, then there will be no any overheating issues. Despite the two major factors, the phone is worth it. But if I were you, I would wait for the P70 Pro.

I encountered 2 problems with the uni... more1. Check apps running background and disable any that may be causing any battery draining issues. Also opt out of sending any diagnostic data, disable syncing for all accounts
2. Might be software or hardware issue. Update software if you can. If not software, contact huawei. Might have to replace display

Superfast charge doesn't work after emui 13 update. Only quick charge appears. Both usb and charger are official from day 1 from box. Am the second owner. No GMS installed or present on system. Someone told me there was a rumor that Huawei disabled superfast charge from devices that installed GMS. is that true?

Ok, good phone. But it isn't any Google apps or another apk of Android. If it capable to sideload Google apps and apk of Android apps. It will be nice. Harmony OS Next will be no of Android apps apk sideload.

I have had this Phone for more than 8 months. I had been complaining about the battery and feeling really dissapointed to have bought the Phone. I though I had wasted my money as its battery screen on time was really poor. As I complained then I want to thank Huawei officials now because after EMUI 13 update, the screen on time value got dramatically longer. I felt so happy. Battery optimization is thankfully better-off. Thank you
Huawei. When it is Huawei, you expect more and more. When you do not have it, you willl feel let down.

I encountered 2 problems with the unit and it's just been only 1week since I bought it..
1st - The battery was draining fast when I'm not using it but it's good while using the phone.
2nd - The unit suddenly and randomly keeps on flickering :(

The camera is better on P50 pro th... moreFor me the Huawei P40 Pro its more better at camera.I saw more details than on P50 Pro with this sd 888 crappy cpu,I just said Kirin was more better than this SD888 .And yes,P50 Pro with Kirin its more better bc is processing more better the photos not like Snapdragon,that's why in dxomark gives better score,when comes about Snapdragon,its not so good.Trust me I had these phones,Huawei P40 Pro and now the Huawei P50 Pro.Huawei P40 Pro i liked more than this,I had for almost 1-1,5 years and that phone was the best for me and at camera.On this P50 Pro i had some case when was over sharpening some photos,for example where was more trees and more leads,at face of persons was over sharpened and lossing some details and on the Huawei P40 Pro was a little bit soft at face of humans in that photo and was not loosing details where was more leafs and trees.I don't speak without having these devices ,trust me,I didn't saw any upgrades here at cameras.Probably at colors bc is not using that filter RYYB on this camera.

Yes, there are issues. But you have 2 version P50 pro with SD888. I had all two version. First version is like you says, battery terrible, heating 40C+, bag. Second is better, no heating, battery better, camera perfect. Now I use the second version with SD 888 and its work normal. We will see for how long. And, yes they upgrade a wifi because he had a wifi issues when it is connected on 2.4 GHz router.

I recomend all to stay on Huawei P40 Pro or Mate 40 Pro the last phones with kirin version,bc this Huawei P50 Pro its a downgrade at camera,and periscope camera (at x50 zoom Huawei P40 Pro beat this Huawei P50 Pro ,on this P50 Pro it has more loss of clarity than P40 Pro,trust me i tested two different P50 Pro and its not camera fault),and performance,ad 888 its heating very much,you can hit 40-42°c (in games 45-46) if you stay about 10-15 min on internet,depends on ambiental temperature in your room.If you care more on display ,about this shit Snapdragon 888 bc is made by Qualcomm and not by HUAWEI with his Kirin the most optimized and intelligent procesor with high perf (what i prefer),then stay on this model if you want too much problems,or you can be learned with these problems and don't care about them,Oh i forgot to mention with my usage light-medium ,i hit 4-5h very very hard sot,its very problematic,battery saver don't do anything,it doesn't limiting the performance of the cpu to limit his frequency (its limited by HUAWEI at 2688mhz on performance core,the battery saver don't do anything,if you activate performance mode its running at 2.84ghz) in case if you want to dial someone and you don't have any battery and you want to save,you cant,my battery life is 97 health and its not very aged,its same sot from begin until today.I really really regret now bc i purchased this phone,its a downgrade for me at camera battery and cup,I had last time Huawei P40 Pro and was much much better than this trash Huawei P50 Pro vers Europe with Snapdragon 888,and now i cant sell it bc all its very hard to sell in my country.And who is thinking "On no,a hater Huawei",nope,i was huawei fan bc they released the best and intelligent and powerful phones than others ,Samsung is shit same as Apple ,they don't inovate,the most innovative brand was Huawei for me,they was 1st in World and sells.I tested Asus,Xiaomi,Realme,MotorolaApple, Samsung (from friend and they just killed they A71 with a software update at performance and heat very much,and its not a product with fault,until we downgraded to android ,it was very good " " ),and now Huawei what I preffered bc of the software it was stable not full of buggs and stupid updates and same week how it was on. Xiaomi,and gives you a think ,a best android optimized at security and performance don't need always update,only on 1 month its enough,when a software is very bad optimized you receive more updates in a f***** month and more buggs appear,new features and more buggs battery drains and performance issues.
