Anyone encounter battery draining problem with their p50 pro sd 888 variant? Mine were just ridiculously drain, it's been 2 weeks and the battery continue to drain fast especially when idle. I go to sleep at 1.18 am with 90% battery and when I woke up at 6.30 am the battery at 72%. There's day when I go to sleep with battery between 20-25% and the next morning the phone is dead. I've tried everything included factory reset, set all apps to auto manage, update software and enable battery optimization for all apps. I'm using the same apps in my last mate 40 pro and it didn't have any problem even many apps are disabled for battery optimization. The battery health shows 99% for my p50 pro while 88% for the mate 40 pro, the mate 40 pro outlast my p50 pro by miles.

I got this phone in 2024, bought it for around $264, (15,500 Php), it was a great bargain.
In 2024, the specs for this phone is leaning more on the mid range level, but the camera... STILL FLAGSHIP LEVEL! I tried comparing it to newer high tier mid range devices, P50 Pro smokes all of them.
So far I got no problems with it, it's just kinda annoying when you came from other android device and tried this, but you'll get used to it.
For me the screen, feels a little lacking in resolution. Overall a great value phone (if you bought it for a cheaper price that is)

Anonymous, 16 May 2024Support only 5ghz wifi take it in count I find solution for wifi on 2,4 ghz. You need to go furder, away from your router about 5-6m air line and then it will work perfect on wifi rotuer with 2,4 Ghz. My wifi signal is the have only 2 line and no issues. Try that on your homes, find a spot wich is about 5,6 or 7 m away from your 2.4 Ghz wifi ruter and it will work fine

Actually battery life is little better wh... moreAlso, I just saw the p50 pro is one of the devices in the EMUI 14 beta list which means it's getting Another OS which is great considering they are running to operating systems parallel. I was almost certain that EMUI 13 would be the last major update for my phone until I saw this. Good stuff all round.

It's been 2 years since i get this phone, and camera is still great compare to others flagships models. Have Gspace, wich can do all my jobs aobut google accounts. After all, I will rate this phone 4/5.

Aside from the SD888's poor efficiency when it comes to battery life I'm pretty happy with mine. It's not laggy. Display is great. Speakers are not the loudest, however, sound quality is still one of the best I've heard on a phone. 4K video all around even on the selfie which very importantly imo also has autofocus. Barely any phones have that even today. And the cameras in general can still give current flagships run for their money. I haven't had the need to install gbox or gspace for the two years I've had the phone. Been running everything I need just fine. Still getting security updates as well. Just got one today actually. Don't know how much longer they gonna support it.
Sometimes notifications don't come unless you open the app. I don't know how much of this is an issue with Huawei and how much is issues with the apps. Don't have a GMS phone to compare.
