The phone is crab. It is so bad that my 8 year old son refuses to give me his iPhone 4s in its exchange. 1st the battery does not last as long as they claim. I use it as a second phone but it last 1/2 as long as my iPhone 6s last. I would be lucky if it lasts for 1 day. and this is with it being in my bag and not in use. When i use I get max 12hours. It charges for over 3 hours most times. It cannot run CSR racing II. No Gyro sensors ... Wait no sensors at all. The only thing lovely about the phone phone is the shake thingy to change the wall papers and the price. But you are probably better of buying an entry level samsung than this phone. If you need a phone to read emails, sms and whatsapp + calls. Then it is brilliant. But please please please stop comparing it with main streams.The 13MP camera is not even as good as it claims to be.

They (Android) keep on failing.there is always some glych or teething issue. I keep hearing about wifi issues which worries me as I bought this phone as a back up to my lg g4 that has a "known problem" with is chip. This p8 lite feels good in the hand and so lovely to use, but I fear there is a built in self destruct as with all the other Android phones out there beside Samsung
It pisses me off that you spend good money on these phones and your lucky to get over a year out of them before they become dysfunctional.fingers crossed. Again

I have had my phone for about 8 months now. It worked flawless for a while but coming from a Nexus 5 to this had its problems. The screen on this phone is not as sensitive when typing. Up until recently everything was perfect till all my photos got corrupt on the phone memory. They appeared as black with no thumbnail, my usual backup also got corrupted with this so was left with nothing. I called Huawei who could only say sorry. After reboot phone is okay but i am scared to take photos as the memory card also got corrupted. Both sides. I am now looking for a new phone but feel a bit put off..was thinking 5c.. but maybe not.

I can`t update my p8 lite to marschmallow 6.0 I am using ALE-L21 and still using 5.0.1 Lollipop. Does anyone knows why I can`t update to marschmallow. I`m from Macedonia. Anyone please help!!!

Settings/Wi-Fi/Menu/Advanced Settings
Keep wifi on during sleep - Always
Scanning always avaliable - On,
the Wi-Fi connecting much better.

From what I saw, it's a common problem and the "solution" (if you can call that a solution) is to change to default google keyboard, which doesn't have the swype function. I'm really disappointed with this.

Great phone with one flaw - MMS.
MMS fails to retrieve messages, and when a message is stuck the data connection also goes offline. Have also had problems with WiFi failing to connect but working OK after a reboot. Very frustrating, I have returned it under warranty after only 2 months.
Expecting the problem to be fixed.

Then las... moreIf you have problem with this phone about can't connect to wifi..just go to the huawei service center because I think it's a software problem they will give you a new phone right away...I'm having the same problem before after they change the phone there is no wifi problem with this new phone at all...and this new phone work absolutely fine...

Hi there, I would like to find out from other P8 lite users, when I receive a whats-app message I do not get a "tone" notification. All notifications is on "on". I know it is settings, just not sure what setting.

For those whose having wifi problems, try to restart your wifi router and make sure you downloaded the "huawei hilink" app. Hope it helps.
