i play games (high graphic dependency ... moreIf I can help you to choose which one is better, than I should take Nova 3i. Why? Because
1. I prefer the Nova 3i's design than honor 8x. It has a little better design, although it has bigger notch, I prefer to see the Nova 3i's notch than honor 8x.
2. Nova 3i has better selfie camera than honor 8x, because it has dual selfie camera.
3. Although the honor 8x has bigger battery, the battery life of Nova 3i can equals the honor 8x. I don't know why this happened, but I have seen it on YouTube.
4. I have hands on the two of them and the size of honor 8x is too big, because it has bigger screen and battery. I prefer to hold the Nova 3i and it's more comfortable for me.
5. Huawei has a better brand image in the community than honor, although honor is sub-brand of Huawei.

nova 3i vs honor 8x
i play games (high graphic dependency - honkai impact, pubg, grand chase, etc) and will take some photos.
i know honor 8x is eyes-friendly if reading/watching/long time looking at phone (TÜV Rheinland feature) but nova 3i seems to provide better/balance phone quality/performance.
may i know which 1 to choose. i have trouble in choosing it.

I think this phone is crap. It is tough connecting to wifi hotspot, and many a times I don't get my own mobile data. I uses two sim cards, and intended to only use sim 1 for mobile data, but the phone setting will forcefully switch to sim 2 whenever I switch off sim 1, before I knew it, my sim 2 bill shoot sky high.
And there is no memory function for calculator.
I recommend this phone to my friend when I first got it, now we facing the some problem chatting via WhatsApp because it just doesn't stays connected. I feel so bad to my friend now.
I had previously own 2 Huawei with less than satisfactory, this 3rd handset will be my last of Huawei product.

i have huawei nova 3i(2018 model) and LG G2(2013 model). the sound quality of huawei devices are not good compared to LG G2( 2013 models.)i tried in same played, with same headphones(bose and senniser headphones) i found LG phones have crystal clear sound and huawei performs badly. no idea why... may be Chinese hardware quality is the key factor.

The only mid range king at this price point is Nokia 7 Plus, better battery, cameras, build quality, speaker, better chipset shall I go on? Nova 3i is good but calling it a mid range king is just misleading. Nokia 7 Plus won the EISA award as the best mid range smartphone of 2018
