Huawei teases the Mate 20 rectangular camera setup once again
Huawei is launching the Mate 20 and the Mate 20 Pro next month in London. We saw some spy photos of the vanilla phone with a rectangular camera setup, the company teased it with the official invitation and then with an official video teaser. A new clip has just appeared on Weibo and some good soul reuploaded it on YouTube where the square is once again the center of attention.
This video is similar to the previous, clearly suggesting the new phone will “push” and “explore” new boundaries with its 7 nm Kirin 980 chipset and new camera setup. The Mate 20 Pro is expected to be the first Huawei device with a 3D face scanning technology if we can trust leaked images from last week.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro might also have 19.5:9 ratio and QHD+ resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels, according to some user agent profiles. It is may even bring back the 3.5 mm audio jack after the Mate 10 Pro dropped it.

They might be but don't forget that Huawei is banned in US due to protectionism. Why would they tweak the device for that market?
