Spot23, 12 Feb 2019Hello, please tell me how to shut down the GPS in this watch?If you choose indoor sports activities on your Watch GT, automatically it means you don't need to use GPS so it turns off. But if you choose any outdoor activity mode, GPS turns on automatically.

I emailed Huawei developers and they said many people have asked this and they said are currently working on the update so should be soon.

Great piece of hardware. Nice looking and strong built. Switched from the expensive Garmin sports watch with pathetic screen. But the GT does everything for my sports activities, sleep and hrm.

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2019yeah, turn off the watch.Satellite receiver is not active until specific training mode is selected. You can turn off heart rate tracking and step counting on the phone within the huawei health app.
