          Hi Guys,
I just need some help. I bought a Y6 last week however it got a wifi issue. Hence, they ask for the phone to be sent to the Huawei service center. Now, they are now offering a replacement to the y7 prime 2017. Which phone do you think is better? Y6 or Y7 prime 2017? Thank you

is there any way to speed up this phone?

is there upcoming update for this phone?

why its so laggy while other phones got same specs and price and yet they are more smooth

why it cant multi task since im just using 2 apps together meseenger and ml

prone to force stop need to resatart just to qork again

            just slow

Ue, 12 May 2018Is there WIFI direct connection ?I purchased this phone as a backup.
Does anyone of you have problems with starting the camera app? The phone is generally slow, but with the camera app the startup time is just ridiculous. Can easily take over 30 seconds, will never start within 10 seconds and taking a picture will not work for another 10 seconds... (in quickstart-mode, volume down twice even slower)

              Should I take it back?

The is the cheapest of the cheap smart phones....but honestly with many apps now taking more than 1GB, 32 GB internal memory and 3 GB Ram is the minimum you should get if you want a smooth experience. If not ready to spend a few dollars more, don't come here whining your phone is lagging....

GPS Test locks on very fast in 1 second I have like 15 satellites locked and an accuracy of 5-6 meters. GPS also provides a basic compass (only N, W, S, E)
WAZE got my location correctly as well and planned a route to a nearby city 84 Km away. It all looks fine, did not get any messages about warnings or errors. It shows me the road ahead regardless how I turn my phone around in 360 degrees. A compass seems not to be a must-have for this navigation app.

Anonymous, 14 May 2018Hi andras! I would like to know how much of a gig does the ... moreGood question. Unfortunately the answer is that "It depends on your needs". First of all what apps do you need? Some Apps can be huge, especially games.
The other storage consumer is photos and videos. I did some tests for this on the Y6. I shot a few images with max resolution (13MP) and they are about 3.1 Mb on average since I found no options to influence compression. This means about 10.000 such photos can be stored on a 32 Gb SD card. I made a Full HD video of 1 minute with very challenging conditions that should result lower compression rates (i.e. I walked around my apartment constantly changing the entire view of the camera. Recording something like a theatre play with a stable background would require much less). This test suggests that about a 150 Mb/Minute is needed for 1080p video recording. This means less than 3 hours HD video can be recorded on a 32 Mb SD card with these conditions.
I can't give an exact answer. You may load photos and videos to Facebook or Dropbox regularly. You may avoid of large apps. In this case 32 Gb SD card is OK, it can work, but you may take action rapidly to move to the cloud. In all other cases I would go for at least a 64 Gb card.

Using file manager you can move photos, videos etc. from internal storage to SD card and vica versa. Apps will be installed to the chosen default storage from the point of time when you switch. I left 6 Gb free on the internal storage and from that point I save everything to the SD card.
