I don't know about you guys, but I just got a 1.65MB update for my devices, still on 9.1.0.309. This 'new' update shows its just a patch of the current 9.1.0.309 version.
Anyone else with something like this?

Peace be upon you, dear brothers, I want every user of the Huawei Y9 phone to put their signature in order to request the update of this phone from Android 9 / EMUI 9.1 to Android 10 / EMUI 10.1 plus post this petition in Facebook groups around the world, thanks.

Hehe.. but my huawei is still so good by the way. Its still fast and no hanging issues except for the gaming.. still want to thank huawei for producing one of the best mid range phone.

As a person have used a lot of Huawei products and the huawei y9 2019 maybe the best in the mid-range products phone you can buy back in 2019 . It's very stable and it may not perform well in game when you go high setting but it's still stable in low setting and medium and the battery is good as far as I still using in 2021( but the time charging is a pain in the ass since its not the fast charging) . I have been through a lot of websites huawei and support and news but let's just face it this time it will not get emui 10 based on Android 10 and it will be the last products of Huawei I ever use ( because no Google support for a new huawei device) it's very satisfaction when hold in hand the screen is good, the battery life is good , performing stable so today at February 27th 2021 . I accept one true that it's not going to get Android 10 so I send this to the other fellows had used this device we need to accept it . Peace and stay strong. And what a shame for that for not getting Android 10.

This phone, Huawei Y9 2019, came with Android 8 even though Android 9.0 Pie was already released before the phone's release. Huawei ditched it by giving it only this 1 update to Pie. It should have gotten Android 10 and Android 11 as well.
Meanwhile its sibling, Honor 8X got Android 10. Where is Honor today? It's sold off as another company. I will absolutely never get any Huawei phone even if some day in the future they get back Google services because they screwed over this phone's users by not providing Android updates.

the most fragile screen i've ever seen in my life. droped the phone frome like 20 cm hight and it cracked like hell even with protection on!!

Hello! Everyone, happy new year to you and fam!!
For months on end, we've been waiting for the EMUI10 update for this device. I remember vividly when I was replied some 10 months ago from Huawei via twitter that they have been working on the update for the device, but are yet to be sure about the stability of the software on the phone. Hence the delay....
I remember also giving an example of smartphone maker having problems with their updates for a particular device of theirs... I think this is the example and can be checked by this link below.
Yes! We all want the update for our devices that have won our hearts with the twin app store capability. The last thing we would want is an update that would brick or crash our devices.
ENOUGH SAID! If the update is coming, knocking on the door of Huawei isn't going to make it come faster. They certainly don't need us to update devices as they see fit. Fingers crossed, people!!
