As a budget phone this was the best phone in 2018...and still is a great phone, with Google Play included.
Too bad nobody buy Huawei outside of China now, they would have been the number one phone seller by now.

Phones with low specs are even running on Android 10 and Huawei says Emui 10 is coming to huawei y9 with all the specs it has what else does this phone need to run on emui 10.
The Huawei company should rethink and come again on this because it make no sense to me.

The next probable place you may find the resolution adjustment will be in the battery section of your settings menu. Fixing it at 720p might be a way to conserve battery. So going to the battery section will be your second best bet. I dont really use the y9 prime... But i use the original Y9 2019.. So this advise is based on experience with huawei devices.

U didn't consider that they are both from different phone makers and may have different quality control in place, which could affect the quality of battery produced at the end of the day. U also didn't consider that these phones are running different custom softwares which could affect the longevity of the battery over a long period of time. U didn't mention the capacity of both batteries, you didn't say whether both phones were running same type and number of apps at the point of evaluation. Because these could affect the longevity of the battery on the long run. Li-po and Li-ion batteries are the same. The only difference btw the two is that one was born out of necessity. The necessity being, due to increase in malfunction of Li-ion batteries which leads them to explode in certain heating conditions,especially while charging which made manufacturers to make heat dissipating circuit to cool Li-ion batteries. The electrolyte was switched for a less explosive solid polymer...which we all now knw as Li-po batteries. It was a safety measure. Forget what u might read online. They are both the same. Just a change in electrolyte for safety reasons. But manufacturers will market it as a new invention obviously. To make more money from ppl.

Chido, 12 Jun 2020I have opened up the phone before. It has a Li ion battery.... moreLi Po is more durable than Li Ion, I know it from experience. Redmi note 3 pro with Li Po battery after 4 years of use still holds energy for 2 days of use and about 15 days in stand by time. HTC 310 with Li Ion after four years of use has an energy for 2 hours of use. And many othera say Li Po is more durable, but its more expensive to produce.
