Android 10 currently seeding to y9 prime 2019.. while y9 2019 rumored wont get the update.. ahh. Im jealous. Hope huawei will give the update to y9 2019 users..

i only enjoyed the phone for 3 months
after i received a call, the phone went off on its own and never switched back on.
took it to a phone repairer and they couldnt find anything wrong with it. really disappointed

Huawei in a reply to a tweet said that Y9 2019 will not be updated to EMUI 10 due to "hardware limitations"... Very bad decision-making!

Have it for nearly one year and it is a great phone. For 200 dollars now the specs are great with Full HD + screen and very good cameras...too bad Huawei cannot launch an improved phone (Prime and S are nearly the same) because of the ban. They could easily outdo the Samsung A serie.

Just got phone and it appears that I have to do a lot of updating. This is mostly for the apps, but more importantly For the android 9.
I hope updating to android 9 won't upset the lovely functioning of the phone. Has anyone any advise on whether to do so or not?

I noticed that there is guest user in Huawei Nova 3i, but in my Huawei y9 2019, there is no guest user. Can someone help me out, how can I activate it.
