The simple fact that older Huawei phones are the best viewed on this website shows that current Huawei phones are DOA and so is the band outside of China. Xiaomi took over its place. If that's any good is up to yourself to decide.

i used this phone for 4 years almost and no issue at all owing screen or software. its screen is strong and can bear heavy falls But you need to use protector because it can catch scratches on back and front, overall its a good phone and worth its price.

So guys am in Nigeria, and I bought the huawei y9 2019 jkm-lx1 which is 6gb /128gb
Initially I started having screen glitches, then it went away. Almost a month later, the battery swole up and I had to change it.
Now the percentage it shows while switched on is not the same while switched off and charging.
Now the phone isn't showing any possible updates
Mine is still in jkm-lx1 8.2.0.160 (c185)
While there is an update of 9.1 but it isnt showing
I also can't get 4g on my mtn sim while using the device
If anyone can find solutions to my few problems

Huawei Y9 (2019) has decent screen resolution, good camera ( not the best around though), excellent battery and performance. One downside - does not support LTE ONLY MODE inasmuch as it supports 4G network coverage ( supports a few 4G bands). Still I love it and recommend anyone to buy it.

I have a Huawei Y9 since 2019 and it has been good to me. Until recently I updated the software and the phone started malfunctioning, restarting itself, deleting my apps and also some apps refuse to open. I can't even update the apps I'm left with. Also it made me to reload my goodle ID and now I have to use petals email as a Google ID. I lost almost everything on my phone. Does anyone has any idea of what I need to do in order for my phone to go back to the way it was, I am open to any ideas. Thank u

Has used this phone since 2018. A great phone to play movies, play some games, navigate on social media and mails. Camera is decent. a month or two before, i started to have my screen unglued because my battery was getting big.. i got my screen replaced because i damaged it accidentally. the new screen is faulty. Anyway it was a great phone to use for 4 years at a bargain price of 150 dollars at the time
