Hi
I have some questions can anyone please help me!
1. what is the difference between Microsoft Pocket PC 2005, Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0, Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone Edition.
2. can I install one of the mentioned oses into another phone for example Microsoft Pocket PC 2005 into i-mate SP5.

    Everything is great about JAM series (i don't need wifi and life without keyboard is just fine). My major concern is that the pictures and video of my imate PocketPC (which is rated at VGA) comes out better than the JAM pictures & videos (which is rated at 1.3MP). This is especially true when taking pictures & video in-doors.
    Does anyone else have seen this problem?
    Is this due to smaller lens on the Jam? Thanks.

      Can anyone tell me if you can use MP3s as your ringtone? and how is it working with Cingular?

        the time is based on the memory.where can find one copy of windows mobile phone edition? if I download the rom from club imate windows is pre-load?!

              hi just found this site and saw your post
              just copy ur mp3 from storage card and paste into
              file explorer/my device / windows/rings
              once uve done that ull see it in the ringtone list when u go to select ringtone

                Just download the new version of “Microsoft ActiveSync 3.8”. The CD also brings Outlook but I am sure you have it, any version will do.

                    Hello everyone, i just got my Imate Jam now and unfortunately the CD i received with this set got cracked :( i need the Sync software for this device anyone can assist me in this regard will be really appriciated.

                        I am impressed by the compact size of imate Jam and its functionality.
                        My question..for receiving SMS messages, the alert-ring tone volume is not enough. How to add new ringtones for SMS alert-messages.

                          Got it 4 weeks ago. Connected to the company eMail system using EMO (E/// Mobile office). IT ROCKS. Battery life could be better and occasionally it goes on a go slow but recovers. Best, lightest, converged device I've used yet......... Now a car kit would be good!

                            Hey, I jus got my O2 XDA Mini about a week ago, and whilst i enjoy finally having a phone and a PDA in one, i have had a few problems...

                            Firstly, I am having extreme trouble in trying to sync my Mini to my laptop via Bluetooth... It does work via the USB cable, but eh, i'm trying to cut back on all the cables lying around on my desk at home.

                            Also, does anyone know of anywhere i can get an upgrade to windows mobile 5.0?

                            But other than these two main problems, I have had little trouble, and totally love my Mini. (except the price *_*)

                            But yes can anyone help me out? aaargh!

                                Ihave ı-mate jam two months ago.but it were being a problem yesterday.it dosent respond any function.I am full reset to device but not respond.its screen look imate but not respont.Icant solve this problem .please help me.r.meral

                                    I want to know is there any free fax software for N-Gage QD, O2 or imate Jam or for any window,palm or for symbian phones. Which operating system is good.(palm;window for mobiles or symbian?)Which phone should I buy? I want to use office software, internet and fax on mobile phone?

                                      I have just bought the i-mate JAM because I want to use it mainly for business purposes. Do you with it is VERY GOOD to be used for business purposes, i.e., up to date reminders, reading and replying to my emails, typing (word/excel)etc. Can I connect it to my PC in order to print out my documents?

                                        Love the phone! But question I had a 6315 before and when bluetooth headset was on it seemed to cut out the speaker on the phone and set all voice to headset ig micro vioce command functions. The jam does not seem to want to do this? Anyone know what to do to fix?
