Abdul basit , 13 Jun 2020I have check mobile harware with "Deroid Info" It Shows ba... moreTrue, I confirmed this too. I was surprised tho...

Anonymous, 18 Jun 20201. If you've to ask "how exactly", you should take some tim... moreMan, aren't you very knowledgeable? Lol

"13MP vs 16MP is a big difference to start with. Even a tech-dumb person can tell which camera is better if they use 13MP vs 16MP camera."
Infinix Note 7 13MP selfie cam will produce better results than the 8MP selfie cam on the Pixel 4, right? I'm sure you don't see yourself as a tech-dumb.

"HDR is NOT a *feature* of Redmi Note 9. HDR is *NEED* of Redmi Note 9 selfie camera."
Pixel 4 is also worse than Infinix Note 7 right? Because you know, it has selfie HDR, which is a NEED, not a feature. Give yourself a resounding round of applause!

"Ultra wide camera is just a secondary camera sensor. Camera quality depends on the main camera sensor, which does 95-100% of the job."
Who said it's the main camera? You know that ultrawide cam's have their uses, right? Or wait, those flagships that have it, and not the actually virtually pointless macro camera and so called "dedicated video camera", wasted resources, right? LMAO. You don't surprise me at all.

"Ultra wide cameras are always disabled by default in phones because they are bad! Not only that, they usually don't work in recording videos in this price."
Disabled? What did you mean by "disabled"? On which phones are they disabled? I'm talking with someone who's doesn't even know what the meaning of a word do common as "disabled" You don't even know what "camera modes" are. Ultrawide cams are bad? Most be why flagships don't have them, then. Phones have features relative to their prices, or you're expecting midrange phones to have flagship-level ultrawide cams? Or the Infinix is better for not having a camera mode that could come in handy? Hahaha… it's better to limp than not to walk.

"Was this really your best argument in favour of RN9 camera?…" it's miles better than everything you've given combined. Useless sensors, when the phone you're defending actually have 3 useless sensors. Lol. I didn't actually expect you to give anything read-worthy, but It seems you can't resist exposing yourself, or maybe you actually are yet to discover your more naive self.

2.5 - 3hrs, what's that? Estimates, lol. Point to a reputable verifiabke source about the charging speed of both phones, not to give me your probably subjective figures. LMAO.

"Yes, according to their *readings* test. Gsmarena reviews also show both RN7 & RN8 have several complaints about sound quality."
Let me quote gsmarena RN7 review: "Despite having just a single bottom-firing loudspeaker, the handset impresses with a loud sound. And it sounds clean at high volumes as well… Loudness remained just as impressive when headphones came into play - one of the highest in the market, let alone the price range." You can't even lie well; what exactly is it with you and mediocrity?

"I know better than you do how good is RN7 sound quality compared to Infinix Note 7."
Yeah, I bet you do. Tell us again what your friend told you about the sound quality, please. You know, the one you said that actually uses the phone, the one that praised the display? Lol. Point to a reputable source that corroborates what you said about both of them having NO obvious difference, because your words aren't worth anything more than dust.

"Anyone who has a brain and who values their money, would naturally search same things about Infinix Note 7.
I assumed that was a given."
I'm sure you assume a lot of things. From the look of things, your whole life seems to be based on assumption, that's definitely why you said for RN9 to be well scrutinized, but not for IN7, because your friend has it, just a unit. No surprises there at all!, a life of "fill in the blank spaces" hahaha.

"First of all, Redmi Note 9 is a very recent phone compared to Infinix Note 7."
At this point, it's really safe to say that you've lost it. Invalidates every comment you made.

Dear marketing student, conduct that study and provide your findings, let me analyze them. Lol. Infinix's built quality pales greatly in comparison to Xiaomi's. I am probably more in personal contact with infinix users than you are with Xiaomi users.

About update; It's not even close to being a competition. Infinix barely gets Android updates. Since someone has already said how many, why don't you just quote the person? Lol

About Nigerians loving Xiaomi; Infinix holds way more marketshare here such that Xiaomi doesn't even come close. Tell me about love. Grasping at straws much. That your assumption seems to be hurting you, though. Let go of the hate, it hurts no one else but you.

Takes about 1.5 hours to charge its 5000mAh battery from 0-80% & around 2 hours to charge from 0-100%. It's the only real fast charging phone in this price, other than Nokia 7 Plus.

Google camera 7.4.104.314953318 is working extremely good on Infinix Note 7. I have 4,128GB version not 6,128.
Performance is good. Never lag. I play pubg on balance still no heating. Battery give 2 or 3 days. Screen is ok. No complaints.

What do you think it's not working and how exactly did you test that it's not working?

You should claim warranty at shop you bought it from. You'll only get reliable customer service from brands like Samsung, Apple, OnePlus etc. Cheap phones brands like Infinix, Xiaomi, Realme don't train their "channel members" in how to handle customer complaints, so some retailers try to deny warranty.

If that's not possible, you've to be firm about claiming warranty. If they say it's not included in warranty, tell them to show you where it's written and read carefully.

Cyberchum, 18 Jun 2020Better camera? How exactly? The Redmi Note 9 has ultrawide ... more1. If you've to ask "how exactly", you should take some time off Gsmarena and do some actual reading. There is a huge difference in Infinix Note 7 & Redmi Note 9 camera, which I already explained in previous comment.

13MP vs 16MP is a big difference to start with. Even a tech-dumb person can tell which camera is better if they use 13MP vs 16MP camera. You've baby-knowledge about cameras.

Secondly, the details a camera can capture depends on its lens apertures. It also directly impacts camera quality in low/medium light conditions.
                - Redmi Note 9 has worst selfie camera in its price where I live and its selfie apertures explains the problem.
It has 13MP with f/2.3, 1/3.1 apertures. Do you even understand how bad that is??? This is worst than previous worst camera phone in this price.

                - Infinix Note 7 has 16MP selfie camera with f/2, 1/3 aperture. That's a huge difference and honestly, way too good for its price.

Lmao, HDR is NOT a *feature* of Redmi Note 9. HDR is *NEED* of Redmi Note 9 selfie camera. HDR works by taking multiple pics (which takes longer to take), and combines them in an attempt to fix low detail problems. The entire reason it's there is because Xiaomi knows RN9 selfie camera can't capture good details.

In fact, Gsmarena also considers it a bad thing if a phone has to use HDR for a shot. The reason being, it often damages the pictures in other ways, like colours/saturation, highlights, shadows etc. And again, takes longer to capture and process the pictures.
FYI: With Gcam, Infinix Note 7 also has access to more than 4 different kinds of HDR modes.

Ultra wide camera is just a secondary camera sensor. Camera quality depends on the main camera sensor, which does 95-100% of the job.
                - Ultra wide cameras are always disabled by default in phones because they are bad! Not only that, they usually don't work in recording videos in this price.

Even my friend's iPhone 11 Pro ultra wide camera is so bad, he doesn't use it. Reason? Big portion of edges of pictures look *stretched out*. If you're standing at sides in group photos, your face will be appear *stretched*, kind of like cartoon or Snapchat filter. And that's iPhone 11 Pro.
                - Redmi Note 9 ultra wide camera is of even lower quality than its selfie camera. How can it be better than iPhone 11 Pro ultra wide camera?

Was this really your best argument in favour of RN9 camera? Out of all your comments, this is the most disappointing one.
This is first time you tried to using technical details in your argument, and what do I find out? That you don't even know basic stuff like this and are one of those gullible people that think *more camera sensors = better camera.*
Only reason I was replying to you was because I thought you actually knew little bit about phones but you're as uninformed as any average user. I don't know if I'll be replying to you after this. Please don't say silly things like that again.

                2. Yes, exactly. Infinix Note 7 charges from 0-100% in around 2 hours.
                While Redmi Note 9 charges from 0-100% in 2.5 - 3 hours. Despite Type C & 18 watt charging.

My Redmi Note 7 also had this problem. Call it poor quality, lies of Xiaomi or whatever. I found out RN7 with 18watt, Type C charges even slower than 10watt micro usb phones like Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2.
At least do your research before arguing.

                3. Yes, according to their *readings* test. Gsmarena reviews also show both RN7 & RN8 have several complaints about sound quality.
Even RN9 already has widely reported problem of volume buttons not working. This is not a small problem that you can just adapt to in everyday use, like poor battery, poor performance, poor camera etc.

Secondly, did you forget I used to own Redmi Note 7? I know better than you do how good is RN7 sound quality compared to Infinix Note 7.
My answer: There is NO obvious or notable difference in their sound quality (including earphones).
Who are you to tell me I'm wrong about it?

                4. No, not at all. Anyone who has a brain and who values their money, would naturally search same things about Infinix Note 7.
I assumed that was a given, but thanks to you, I see I was wrong. So sorry about that.

I wrote it under Redmi Note 9 because I heard about volume button issue from multiple sources, indicating that there might be many units with this problem.
Was that my bias or respect for readers money?

I didn't write it under Infinix Note 7 because I've checked those things myself for a friend and it passed my evaluation. I would rank it 3rd or 4th best quality phone in its price, as of my country.
It's solid and durable, and is unlikely to develop any major issues like Redmi Note 9 volume button issue in the long run. Word: major issue. Not things like scratches on back or minor temporary bugs.

                5. Bad argument. First of all, Redmi Note 9 is a very recent phone compared to Infinix Note 7.
In fact, if you search about RN9 right now, you can hardly find any reviews about it from its owners on YouTube, Gsmarena and other mobile review platforms. Yet, it has more complaints and serious ones at that.

So your argument that it has more complaints because of more reviews is wrong. Highest reviews you'll find of RN9 are on Gsmarena and FB groups. Though I didn't find many RN9 owners on Gsmarena.

Secondly, you can still use Ratio to compare phones even if a phone has less reviews.
Compare "Ratio of good vs bad reviews" of 1 brand phone with "Ratio of good vs bad reviews" of 2nd brand phone. Take samples from multiple sources to avoid bias and fake reviews. You forgot I'm studying marketing :)

I can promise you, if you actually grab a pen and paper to do this, you'll quickly realise how much worse is quality of Xiaomi phones compared to other brands.
On the very least, you've already admitted Xiaomi phones have many complaints for bugs/issues.

                6. Another Nigerian guy already used that argument about updates here and another guy replied with names of Infinix phones that did get updated. That guy disappeared from here fast lmao.
I swear, Xiaomi has done some sort of magic on Nigerians. No one loves Xiaomi as much as you guys.

                - I provided explanation, examples and technical details with everything I say. If I'm lying, biased, un-knowledgeable or doing paid promotion for Infinix, why am I making it easy to prove me wrong?

                - And if I'm wrong, why can't you still prove me wrong with technical facts? Admit it, you searched some of what I said and it turned out to be true. That's why you agreed to many things like MIUI lowering performance of chipsets, battery, bugs, volume etc.

                - And why am I recommending phones from other brands like Realme and Xiaomi itself, which you think I'm biased against?
I don't know much about entry level phones but as far as I'm concerned, this is the first Infinix phone I can recommend.

Anonymous, 18 Jun 2020Conclusion: Infinix Note 7 vs Redmi Note 9 Infinix Note... moreBetter camera? How exactly? The Redmi Note 9 has ultrawide camera, which is absent on the Infinix. The selfie camera has HDR, which again is absent on the Infinix? Oh, it's better because the selfie cam has 3 megapixel more? What an expert analysis!

Better viewing angle and faster charging speed? Point to your sources.

Infinix could have louder speaker audio, but still have poor overall audio quality, at the end of the day, people listen to music more with earphones. Gsmarena tests show that RN7 and RN8 have great audio quality, more than some costlier phones.

Oh, they should search for all those issues, even durability test, for Redmi Note 9, but not for Infinix Note 7? Definitely not biased!

When Infinix Notes doesn't even come close to selling as much as Redmi Notes, no surprises if fewer users complain about bugs online; you know how percentage and ratio works, right?

How many Infinix Notes have received Android updates in the past? They have virtually non-existent software support. But go ahead, Anonymous Infinix marketing officer, lol.

Cyberchum, 17 Jun 2020Lol. Just better display for Redmi Note 9? And you wonder w... more:) it's funny how quickly you stop talking about things I proved you wrong about, but still go on to make new arguments.
                              You lack self awareness.

I already included infrared port (IR Blaster), display, and reverse charging in my initial comment which made your inner fanboy angry, just because I suggested a better phone than Redmi Note 9 in its price.
Another cheap attempt from you of trying to change what I said. Aren't you too petty?

                              1. Camera:
Start by talking about extra poor selfie camera of Redmi Note 9. It's 13MP with f/2.3, 1/3.1 apertures. If you understood camera specs, you would know because of its apertures RN9 camera can't capture good details and takes pretty bad pics if it doesn't get good light.

While Infinix Note 7 has 16MP with f/2, 1/3 apertures. Capable of capturing way more detail. This also helps a lot in low light as when noise removal algorithm is applied, this extra detail helps retain enough detail in the pic. Which Redmi Note 9 is physically incapable of. It also supports Gcam.

Ultra wide camera is just a optional secondary camera sensor. Main sensors are much more important. Most people don't even use Ultra wide cameras because it ruins the pictures. Even in high end phones like iPhone 11 Pro, the edges appear "stretched out flat". My friend has it and we found it to be better to take few more steps back group photos instead of using its ultra wide camera.
Can Redmi Note 9 ultra wide do better than iPhone 11 Pro?

                              2. Software support:
Infinix Note 7 OS is perfectly fine and stable with Android 10. Its software is more stable/bug free than MIUI phones like Redmi Note 9.
Even Infinix Note 7 has developers working on ROMs for it. Check Telegram and XDA.

The entire reason MIUI phones have so many ROMs is because people realise how much MIUI sucks. They get new bugs with every single update, have poor performance and poor battery.
This is what forces MIUI users to flash different ROMs (I was one of them).

Lastly, even if your argument is *more ROMs*, 95% people won't flash ROMs because it's troublesome and there are risks involved. Such as losing your phone for flashing wrong ROM or because developer did a poor job at ROM, or the developer can simply give to support for your phone after you flash it.

This is not a point in favour of Redmi Note 9. Or is this where you draw the line of your "biased" argument?

                              3. Gyro sensor:
Infinix Note 7 has virtual gyroscope which is very fast, accurate and works works with VR. Already tested :))
Research before you say things, kid.

                              4. USB Type:
Type C is not a advantage over Micro USB, it's an alternative. Especially when that Type C phone charges slower than the Micro USB phone you're comparing it with.
And if people where you live mostly have Micro USB phones, Type C is a big disadvantage for you because you can't charge your phone at somebody's house.

Once again, is it only not biased/subjective when it's in favour of your favourite brand?

                              5. Oh, Is that right? Will I get better LTE speed if I buy Redmi Note 9 sitting where I am?
Or only in specific conditions that don't exist for any of us?
Unless Infinix Note 7 had slow speed problem and you can get better speed sitting on same spot, your argument is invalid.

                              6. OK for IR & L1. It can be of use to some people.

                              7. Yes, people from various countries face weak signal reception issues in Xiaomi phones. I don't know why you're not searching it. Xiaomi is literally famous for it.

If complaints on Gsmarena aren't enough for you, go to XDA, Telegram groups or Facebook groups of Xiaomi phones and argue with them instead of me.
And congrats on finding one of the many connection problems in Xiaomi phones.

As per points in your own comment:
2/8 factor make Redmi Note 9 better than Infinix Note 7.
4/8 factors make Infinix Note 7 better than Redmi Note 9.
2/8 factors are subjective or only applicable in unexistent conditions.

If you disagree, provide just as logical and technical argument against what I said. Or you can only call me biased?
All of this tells us that you barely know anything about phones.

Cyberchum, 17 Jun 2020Lol. Just better display for Redmi Note 9? And you wonder w... moreConclusion:
Infinix Note 7 vs Redmi Note 9

Infinix Note 7 has better performance (at worst, similar) due to heavy MIUI of RN9. Better Camera (especially selfie), Battery, Charging speed, Signal Reception, Display Viewing Angles, More Stable Software, dual speakers and less heating.
It did well in durability tests and it has very few complaints, so quality seems good as well.

                                - Display sharpness is lower than average, but all actual Infinix Note 7 owners say it's fine/not bad - probably due to its LTPS display instead of normal IPS display.

                                Redmi Note 9:
Its real or practical advantage is in some features like Reverse Charging, Infrared Port, type C, sharper display and morale support from Mr Cyberchum.

                                - It already has quality complaints/bugs like volume button problem, so please check for its issues before giving up money.
Issues you should search about: Signal reception, battery drain, heating, volume issue, charging speed, software bugs, selfie camera quality.
                                Also check its durability tests.

Go for RN9 if its features make it more suitable to your use (like IR),
Go for Infinix Note 7 if you don't use those features and want things like performance, battery, better selfie camera, stability etc.

If RN9 is in price of Realme 5 Pro in your country - go for Realme 5 Pro. It has way better performance and camera, less heating, battery efficiency and more, so it's much better value for your money. But it lacks IR.

You guys just de speak big big grammar pls,is this phone nice and OK,quality and everything or more in a phone?

Anonymous, 17 Jun 2020So now "what's good" is subjective? What happened to that w... moreLol. Just better display for Redmi Note 9? And you wonder why someone said you're biased? Yes, you gave him your subjective opinion.

LTE speed, ultrawide camera, gyro sensor, device software support, IR blaster, Widevine L1, USB type C etc. if checked, it'd probably have better sunlight legibility and better audio quality (mind you, not just loudspeaker loudness). All these factor in defining a better phone, but don't worry, you weren't biased.

After using Nokia E51, I found IR blaster convenient for controlling electronics, and I tend to look out for that feature. And I know many that would prefer to have it, if given the option, and even those that would use it as a tie-breaker, such as they'd do with memory expansion.

And like I've said before, I don't experience any reception issues; do most users, from different countries, have that issue? There's a reason for Wi-Fi dual band: 2.4 GHz is getting more and more congested, and leading to more and more interference. I had seen a user that once complained of poor Wi-Fi come to say that it only happens when he's using his wireless earbud. And switching to 5 GHz WI-FI fixed it.

Cyberchum, 16 Jun 2020Oh, you do?! Those ones aren't suffering from poor performa... moreSo now "what's good" is subjective? What happened to that when you started arguing lmao? I clearly told OP if he wants better display, go for Redmi Note 9 and if he wants better performance & battery, go for Infinix Note 7.
And if RN9 is price of Realme 5 Pro, for RM5 Pro.

Aw, of course they've same issue! :D
I like Pocofone F1 & Redmi Note 9s for what they offer in their price and how other phones compare to them.
It's called getting value for money.
Too difficult? Should I dumb it down for you and explain in technical detail again? :)

The fact you tried to use this argument once again proves how little you know about Android phones. And that's exactly what I meant by you're just arguing for the sake of your ego at this point.
You failed to answer even 1 of my technical questions. Lol.

FYI: SD845 of Pocofone F1 has similar performance to most SD835 phones.
And it's a good chance for you to confirm whether what I said about Xiaomi signal reception and battery is true or not. You can read its reviews to confirm it. It even heats up as much as normal phones that don't have cooling systems.
