JstormZx, 07 Dec 2021Of course I can compare the 120Hz smoothness. I don... moreAre you saying if I get a Xiaomi phone and put a launcher on it, all (or most) of the software problems will be solved. Then why are people complaining about Xiaomi phones? They're like Google Pixel is the best as it has (and even though it has 60Hz and slow charging compared to 120Hz and fast charging on Xiaomi's), its software advantage trumps all. But if Xiaomi's software issue can be resolved, then actually Redmi's will be better than cr*ppy pixel a series

JstormZx, 07 Dec 2021Of course I can compare the 120Hz smoothness. I don... moreCheck out this wild thing. I just compared my Pixel 3a's 60Hz and S10's 60Hz, and the S10's display just feels smoother, at first I thought it even had high refresh rate. Now idk if this is due to Samsung's fluid animations or its chip being faster.

JstormZx, 07 Dec 2021Um, what are you talking about? XD did anyone ever tell you... moreYou are contradicting yourself. First you say the skins "do not affect the frame rates", then you say "it even drops frames in the app drawer". I'm trying to understand what is behind this. Because people say Google and Nokia phones are the best. And I'm like, but they don't have that much good specs, but I guess software overrules everything for user experience. I'm like, but this Xiaomi or Samsung phone has wayyy better specs, like 120Hz Oled, and super fast charging, but they say these Xiaomi phones have heavy and laggy software (call it skins if you want) that slows the phones down even though they have 120Hz

JstormZx, 07 Dec 2021Um, what are you talking about? XD did anyone ever tell you... more"Just because you heard something has bugs doesn't mean it's sooo bad, it's unusable and ruins frame rates." Think about it this way, if you have a laptop with a low power i3 6th gen cpu with integrated intel graphics, even if you have a 144Hz monitor connected via hdmi, you can't expect 144 fps, because it's all about how the system handles the load and feeds the monitor. I have used Poco X3's 120Hz, but Xiaomi's software is so buggy that it makes the display FEEL like slow. Compare that to uninterrupted Google's stock android

RandyRiffin, 07 Dec 2021Okay. If you have both Infinix and Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro... moreOf course I can compare the 120Hz smoothness.
I don't have to use scrolling to make my comparison everytime. I can use games, apps that aren't the system launchers. Because those are the maximum lag causers. System launchers on skins are the worst.
So I have hundreds of alternatives. 120Hz on both these phones look exactly the same. My tests are now about performance. Can the zero x pro stay at 120Hz and not drop frames on light games? How about heavy games?
Does it handle uncapped frames well? These are the things I want to find out. Comparing their 120Hz in scrolling is not a problem because of their "software" They look the same, just like any 120Hz would. And that's a good thing. Like I mentioned before the G95 is not a joke. It's capable. So is SD732G

RandyRiffin, 07 Dec 2021Okay. If you have both Infinix and Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro... moreUm, what are you talking about? XD did anyone ever tell you Miui and Xos are so bad 120Hz is always looking like crap all the time? What do you mean buggy software?
How bad do you think Miui/XOS software is? Like some 30fps slow piece of crap?
My guy. Miui is a skin. Xos is a skin. And I hate skins. But they do not affect the frame rates every single time. Ok, Miui launcher for example, yes that is buggy...it even drops frames in the app drawer. Which is very stupid.
But I don't use it. I use nova on my Redmi note 10 pro. My 120Hz is very good idk what you're talking about XD
Stop making assumptions. Just because you heard something has bugs doesn't mean it's sooo bad, it's unusable and ruins frame rates. If the phone is good, it usually handles it's software well (if it's heavy)
My 120Hz is fire, what's your point?

808, 09 Nov 2021Used one from a friend, the xos skin is heavy and the 120hz... moreLol stock android + 120Hz on this phone would have killed the competition (if Infinix had any...) Everyone is above them, except Tecno lol
They really need to drop their skin. It's ugly and a blatant ripoff of iOS. Not to mention the ads, Oh lord the ADS. XOS is utter trash. And the system installs apps you don't even know about or use! Disgusting.
But on the bright side, the g95 on this phone is not a joke. It's capable of doing things quicker than I expected. It may be on par with snapdragon 730G but it slightly outperforms 732G.
Auto rotate is faster, some apps open faster, asphalt 9 gives slightly better graphics (light motion blur and water droplets) that not available on redmi note 10 pro. Still runs at 30fps though, Gameloft's enforced frame cap.
I'm still doing other tests to see just how beefy it actually is compared to the best value budget phone of this year, Redmi note 10 pro.
But 120Hz is very good here honestly speaking. It's not as good on note 11 pro. G95 is a little better than g96, that's probably why. I feel anyone who gets this phone, especially where it's mostly sold should be satisfied with it's midrange specs.

RandyRiffin, 14 Nov 2021U sure the skin is heavy? In the photos in the review at Gs... moreOh, The skin is heavy alright, but him saying 60Hz on stock android is smoother is not true. I would throw away any skin for stock android but 120Hz on this phone is sure as heck better than 60Hz on stock android.
Unless he's saying the phone he's using just stutters a lot everywhere.
The 120Hz on this phone works as good as you'd expect. Lags caused by xos are very minor. I'm currently running tests on it and I gotta admit, the quality here is surprising for Infinix.
Their note 10 pro was disgraceful ux wise even the note 11 pro stutters at 120Hz as well, but this looks just a little promising. Could be because they are using the xos launcher, now that is trash. Use a new launcher and the phone may get a little smoother.
Overall this phone is surprisingly good ngl. It's Beauty and performance are on point. I'm a redmi note 10 pro user btw. Just speaking from tests of the zero x pro

Anonymous, 10 Nov 2021completely trash. 390 euro for G95 and infinix😂😂😂I was going to refute that argument, then I hopped on to eBay and tried looking for a cheap Infinix Zero X Pro. And I couldn't find any Infinix phone other than Note 10 Pro. Calling Infinix a rare brand is an understatement! 😂😂😂
