The Irda window is located at bottom opposite side of the volume. which is near the keypad '9' and '#' key.

For Mp3 song, is very depending on convertion time. You may notice some mp3 song hav louder volume output but other might be lower. So if you choose a low volume level MP3 song, than ringtone will be softer.

A10 sms message cannot be change. Have to use the preset tone.

Is it possible to load different ringtones than from the manufacturer? I want to change the ringtone for incomming SMS messages? Is there a way to do that?

Can anyone tell me where is the A10's IrDa surface? I couldn't find it! And where to activate the infrared ?
Is it neeeds to upgrade?

Er, can any Innostream A10 users tell me 1 thing?? Does the sound, ringtone, or Mp3 Player loud enough? or it is soft? Coz i am looking to by 1, but my ear a bit problem.. Thanks

Hi Guys
After install IRDA and upgrade the latest Firmware.Did the camera indoor & music sound quality also being improve? Any problem after upgrading,Pls advise,coz i still in considertion to upgrading the IRDA and Firmware.Could we get the latest Firmware from net?

Ok, finally with gav's support i found a partial solution.
I've found these 3 options, so i set option "GPRS data" in "PC connection" instead of "Mass Storage" and like i supposed, as soon as i connect INNO A10 to my laptop WITH usb cable (that one i've found in the package, not another) windows recognizes a new hardware "GSM/GPRS Mobile USB Device".
So, i think, it's possible to use usb cable, instead of infrared port for internet connection, like others mobile phones.

The only question now is: where can i find a driver?
Anyone can help me?

but i'd like to know another thing...i saw this post from "Misuge":

GPRS data... the default is mass storage of coz.. but some countries are not same.. if really cannot then u hav to go back to the shop n ask for support. my inno A10 works perfectly n its 100% fine till now.. So, where are these options 1-2-3 ?!? What does he refer to, in your opinion?

And then is it possible to watch video mjpg in the laptop? VideoLan doesn't work....

The last question: i tried internet connection with Irda and laptop. It works, fortunately, but every minute if i don't refresh a page or i don't use connection and i read a web page for example, the irda port turns off and i must reconnect.. is there a solution?

It's a good phone, but you understand, i bought it for internet connection! No cable... irda doesn't work so fine... and like you say, sms default option is multitap, Ahhhhh!!!! it's seems a little old!

In Malaysia, INNO A10 IrDA upgrade is free as long your unit is genuine Southall set. Make sure you bring along warranty card when send for upgrade.

INNO A10 package USB cable is only use for file transfer 'mass storage'. And for internet connection, it will be another cable which consider as add-on accessory.

INNO A10 does not have any PC-Sync software. On the website, software is for older model phone.

For INNO A10, all text composing is under multitap and this cannot be changed.

Is it possible to use USB cable in the package for internet navigation..??
I see only one option when i connect A10 to my laptop. "Mass Storage?" Yes or No....
I don' see the others options... how can i do? It's very very important.

2) It's impossible to download PC SYnc from Innostream since many weeks!! however that software i think is useless with a10

3)Is there anyone who use T9 for sms composing? I'm not able to set up T9 default... every time i must select T9 before starting sms!

4)Innostream support is very very bad. Nobody answer to my mails..

INNO A10 moving picture does not support sound recording. But you can use your save moving picture as wallpaper.

if you set a mp3 as ring tone u better set the vibrator on too or, u won't feel the phone never... I think this cell phone is for girls cuz it have a feature named "lady's calendar" u know girls can set their PERIOD (those days)

since i live in Dominican Republic, there's no way to get THE INFRA RED PORT upgraded... and if u lost the charger u r dead... :)
