Its the first batch of A10 that doesnt have IRDA. The later ones should have. The first batch users sent the phone to distributor to have their phones to be installed with IRDA. Therefore, if you are buying it now, the phones should have IRDA installed.

Hi I'm Nixon from Indonesia. I had order Inno
A10 from HK. But, there is some question,that
my supplier can't asnwer it.
Is Inno A10 have IRDA? Why all of you take the phone back to the service centre for Upgraded? Is there something wrong with the IRDA?
Because i see at Inno A10 review, it should have infrared (IRDA) right?

hi, i want to know how to set up wap and email on this phone, it must be possible if it has wap and my a10 is registered on the vodafone network and i cant seem to get help from anywhere, would you be able to tell me any information on how to do it. thanx.

I went to that site and downloaded 'video lan player' but it doesn't seem to work? still can't open my .mjpg files. :(
any suggestions is appreciated.
BTW, Anyone here knows how to get that cool blue animated original wallpaper in the phone which says 'MP3 Real Sound' and transfer it to PC? Or, can that pic be found in any web site at all?
I'd like to use that wallpaper on my other phone. It's probably a .gif file and is located under display settings/wallpaper/sample image in the phone but we can't access it with our cable.

The player that can play mjpg files is video lan player and it can be found here http://www.videolan.org/. This player can play any format there is. You dont have to download any codecs ever.

camera of inno A10, even thou u all noe it is not as good as it mentioned.. but it is stil satisfiying...
CMOS lens is better than VGA, but mayb due to the camera lens' size, sum how the quality of the photos are not as good as 1.3MP, but overall its ok, its light sensitivity is low, during late night or in dark places or indoor, there will be some blue/black dots filling up some parts of the photo, but this can be fix by using some photo editing softwares... juz use the camera for fun n not pro use. :)

bout the USB, maybe u all can try choosing the option.. there u can choose either 1. mass storage 2. PC sync or 3. GPRS data... the default is mass storage of coz.. but some countries are not same.. if really cannot then u hav to go back to the shop n ask for support. my inno A10 works perfectly n its 100% fine till now.. (abt a month more i own tis fone)
As for the firmware.. some countries has different loading screen. e.g. in HK, its a short music video by a HK singing group call "cookies", for me, in malaysia.. its the original loading screen wif the word innostream then the Mp3 bubbles...

Is there a firmware upgrade for this phone? My phone has this stupid video of women dancing at the startup. Plus a lot of the times when I open the flap the screen is just white and I have to turn it off and back off.

Try going to the store that you bought it from and ask them if they have any other kind of USB cable. When I bought USB cable it did not work so I took cacable to the store and they gave me doferent kind of cable and now it works.

i think there are places where you can download user manual for innostream a10. Its available for download at its official website : www.innostream.com (this site is down these days, but do check it out in the future). The user manual is in doc format.

yea.... its upgradable. my phone now is running with IRDA.
