MIUI the most optimized? I have seen it lagging in MI 5 (even though not frequent). I agree that it is one of the most customizable stock ROMs. It is not fair to talk about custom ROMs here, so I will not get into that.
About audio quality, people often get mistaken between quality and volume. I can bet none of the mid-range phones can be better than flagship devices (especially Samsung's) in audio quality. This claim of yours is actually interesting, considering you said that you have used most of the flagship mobile devices. Also, as a personal observation (I haven't done any research on this) some devices does not produce enough power output to drive large or powerful headphones. That doesn't mean their audio quality is bad. Just that, with some headphones, the sound will feel dull. Also, use of Poweramp, etc. is a matter of functionality and taste, not audio quality.
About carrying the usb type c to 3.5 jack converter with you all the time, it won't be a big deal if you are planning on carrying ATH-M20x with you.
As for the camera comparison, I can safely assume that you have no idea about the quality of LeEco Le2 camera. I don't think I have anything more to say about that.
As for the OS version, I would go for Marshmallow any day over KitKat. There is a difference between speed and fluidity. The newer OSes feel slower on even good devices partly due to the animation delays. It is just the perception. Actual speeds have really improved from the KitKat days.
I will partly agree with you on battery. But, please don't drag in the flagship devices into this. It is stupid to compare between the two types. It would be like asking for a weight lifter to run in a marathon (there may be exceptions?). Also when you say 3 days of normal use, I assume you are talking about usage with 3g or WiFi off, right? Otherwise, I will bet that it won't last 3 days. 1.5 days is more sensible.

First thing Sd 650 and Sd 652 not much difference may be milli second speed in app launch. Gaming performance both version of sd running in same clock speed so it's going to be same performance.
Redmi running on miui rom it's the most optimised android rom with hell lot of features which company directly supporting and providing updates. Don't go behind eui, oxygen or flyme. Miui team i know working from the day i got android phone few years back. They only in to customise android rom along with cyanogen. Experienced and skilled people's work for miui customise and optimise android rom. You mostly don't need other custom roms , rooting, recovery nothing.
Redmi build quality is very good... I'm using without any case or scratch guard screen is scratch resistant up to my believe.
Battery, Battery, Battery backup is very most important thing in current multimedia and gaming smartphone world. Redmi with hexacore still not compromising performance it gives outstanding backup. From my experience of using most of the flagship devices. It easily last 3 days for normal user. Like me guys it stands 1.5 days for sure.
Still built with aluminium uni body no heating issues. It supports quick charging but you need to use the quick charger. See how fast it's charging with quick charger.
Speaker output is average.
Headphone output is just mind blowing i never come across in any device so far. Even i used lenovo vibe x3 that sucks in front of this device output. I'm using ath m50x i didn't did any changes in equaliser or sound enhancer. Just plugged in headphone and used default music player. You Never needed poweramp or any other third party music apps on this device. This is where miui team shines. All songs amplified with equal audio output. Crisp and clear i ever heard before. Outstanding headphone output.
Don't see a single advantage of single usb c charger port as well as it's used as a headset jack. Technology wants to make people slaves to use them. If your battery going to die you want to listen or watch video using headphone how it's possible. Will you carry the converter everywhere to use your premium headphones. What a joke. Flop testing.
Camera you can't compare anywhere near to samsung or lg phones but surely leeco won't be superior camera. Display again don't compare with branded flagship devices they are legend. Don't expect those clarity vibrant on any of this devices.
Don't worry about android updates how much the current android version running on the phone optimised that is only matters.
Upgrading android versions for name sake slow downs performance only no benefits. How many accepting kitkat fluency not there in lollipop or marshmallow.
And that's it. I just wait to aware you all before blindly go. It's up to you all to decide.

Exellent phone with resonable price
Good camera,good battery life and good design
Fingerprint is better than redmi note 3pro and meizu m3 note
UI is not good enough to compete Xiaomi and Meizu
Heating is not much except charging time
I can buy it with 200 dollars in my country
