Lenovo series/Branded androids phone: When updating new OS update. Backup necessary data on sd card/computer, factory reset the phone. Without logging any google/windows accounts or installing any app/software, turnoff and turn on two times, start updating the phone, try to keep sims off-line while downloading upgrade firmware, on hispeed wifi or 3/4G internet. And installed the update, make a reset on updated phone again and turnoff and on phone twice with the same procedures. This will keep safe the update and doesnot break the android/windows files while downloading/installation time. Downgrade to KiTKAT will effect the touch sensor and will make it hard, just go to Lenovo Sales/service center and make it on KITKAT, then follow the same procedures as i mentioned above. It works, i had the same issue but resolved now. I am only facing Camera resolution issue and waiting for the 3rd built of Lenovo A5000 Contact Hammad@ 03055609229

For those who suffering from sim card problems after upgtaing to lollipop, please remove the sim card before update and follow the steps I menthiod early here. Also some simcrad preloaded sofware is old and/or incompatibale so please check with your mobile carrier if above advice dosen't work. Thanks

I upd... moreAs far as I know since the frimware was already updated no way to return back to a previous kitkat version unless you go to an authorized Lenovo repair center, probably they will change the mainboad and the touch. Make sure your phone is under warrently otherwise you will pay for spare parts and its already expensive.

After upgrading to Lollipop the main camera became 6 megapixels from 8 megapixels, and the front from 2 megapixels to 1 mega pixels, plus the APN did not work at all, cannot be connected to the internet through data sim. Those who want to buy this phone beware of upgrading it, much better to keep the original kitkat version.

i'm trying to update my phone but i can't. i start the update process, download the last version
A5000_S123_150929_8G_ROW, when the download finishes, my phone restarts, it seems tha ne update is installing but after a while it restart again and tha "sorry, the flash didn't updated". i have tryied via wifi and via lenovo smart assistant from the pc and it says the same message. did anyone know what to do? thanks
