nate, 15 Oct 2015where did u learn this steps? and did it work for u?.. what... moreI learned these steps from my previous trials with HTC upgrading and should works perfectly for any type of android phones and updates if you follow the steps correctly (I did with many phones brands including Lenovo phones and all updating to Lollipop went OK).
Android Lollipop Rom A5000_S123_150929_8g_ROW (5.02) is perfectly and smoothly work with Lenovo a5000 (although some issues like battery drain and Ram usage commonly exist in android) but so many third party apps could resolve such of issues like Clean Master I already used which make my Lollipop a5000 phone better than any android phones around.

Finally such of ROM is the best than previous one.

        My phone had fallen down and since then the phone can't detect the SIM Card in Slot 1. I tried this SIM Card in another mobile but it didn't work and i tried another SIM Card in Slot 1 and also didn't work. can anyone help me?

            After I upgraded lenovo A5000 to lollipop I can't remove the pattern. Any suggestions how can I remove the pattern? Thanks!

              Hey Friends

              For those who want upgrade lenovo a5000 to latest lollipop update A5000_S123_150929_8g_ROW Android 5.02.

              I will give here my experience for best update without any errors and bugs just follow the steps below:

              1- Before upgrading factory rest to original Rom of android Kitkat (make sure your phone is not rooted... its very important to avoid any errors while upgrading).
              2- when first startup with android Kitkat don't sing-in to your google account and/or do anything just boot up normally except connect to WiFi and do 2 times reboot (remember don't login to your google account and or install any apps).
              3- Download the new lollipop update and stay on the download screen until it finish download.
              4- Install the new update and wait completely till it finish (it sometimes takes up to 20 minutes.
              5- After complete upgrading connect to WiFi and do 2 times reboot (remember don't login to your google account and or install any apps).
              6- Factory rest to Android 5.02 (the process could take 15-20 min).
              7- After the phone boot up login to your google account and do what you want the phone is ready now with no errors or bugs.

              Notes:
              --------
              *Remember this steps is only for upgrading original Kitkat ROM stock only not for costume Roms or Rooted phones.

              *For those who don't like upgrading and want downgrade to original Kitkat rom, just remember downgrade will damage the phone touch and probably phone won't not responding and hangup in boot up, my advice you should go Authorized Lenovo service center they can do it free of charge if your Phone is still under warranty.

                i love this phone. the battery is good, the quality and durability does what it was promised. and the lenovo really did a great job by doing a great phone like this. and i am really satisfied with it. hoping that they will not abandon us users of this phone for the future updates. thank you so much... keep up the good work lenovo

                    Ya lollipop version is not so good in this mobile!
                    Ui of kitkat was best and lollipop version consumes more tha 300mb of ram!

                      How van I go back to KitKat? Cuz I updated mine to Lollipop but I don't like the it. My SN and PN displays blank. And the moment I updated to lolli the vibe UI was gone and I want to go back to KitKat how do I do that? And if I go back to KitKat will the vibe UI return as well?? Please help

                                For those who upgraded to LP 5 and have the battery drain as I did, it's a very simple solution, stop the mtklogger from running in the background.
