Did someone updated their OS to marshmallow? How is it? I can't find any review how it runs on updated marshmallow, can't update mine coz I'm still looking for opinions about the update the salesman said that don't update yet because of the bugs but I haven't seen any thread talking about the latest marshmallow update.... Thank you

Anonymous, 29 Aug 2016Man, sound out put if K5 note is superior compared to Redmi... morei really doubt your knowledge about sound output, sound output is always connected to cpu of your device,there must be some kind of hardware which throws signal to software for digital processing which then results into good or bad sound output. some of manufacturers like vivo, htc put dedicated sound card on their motherboard to produce excellent sound, snapdragon also have same sort of facility where they put digital signal processor on their chipset, which functions independently when needed for excellent audio and phone calls where as architecture of mediatek is not the same, no wonder they are cheaper than snapdragon chip sets, now the media tek people have realized this thing and started working on it . Yes, software can alter it a bit but same software can give you better sound on snapdragon than mediatek. and this is android you can install any software in any mobile... Just Try it by installing Dolby atoms or android on both redmi note 3 and lenovo k5 note

Just listen something.
sound out put doesn't related with chipset. It depends mostly on the software (equilizer) and kind of ADC and DAC in it.
Redmi note 3 is better only in gaming. K5 note handle games well too.. Also, the customizations are more in Redmi.
But Lenovo upgraded there lolipop to marshmallow and we can expect Android N too.
In software updates Mi is a big zero. Only cared about updating UI

AnonD-577357, 27 Aug 2016Hi, If u looking for an - Entertainment , TheaterMax, S... moremedia experience with snapdragon chip sets is always better than mediatek chipsets,,pls go through their architecture for this detail, dolby atmos wont make a huge difference either with mediatek chip set as sound output is something related chipset architecture,i have both mediatek and snapdragon chipset mobiles, snapdragon gives a crisp and bass rich sound compared to mediatek. go for lenovo if u want camera and looks, for everything else go for redmi note 3.
