But as soon I connected to wifi I got update notification. But please dont hurry to make update. The version you are having right now is more stable that the update.
Think before you update, or wait and read the comments here to get exact idea.

After getting terrified due to many bugs like device overheating, rapid battery draining etc. in the recent Oreo upgrade got an update patch yesterday (Android security patch level May 5, 2018). After installing it, the heating problem almost seems to have vanished. Secondly, battery draining too has slowed down. Earlier without this recent patch in place, I used to experience a total battery drain in 6-7 hours. On the contrary, after installing the latest patch yesterday 1800 HRS am still left with 33% battery. The patch installation was done while the charge showed to be 93% and coincidentally I has to use WhatsApp and youtube more often for some purpose in the last 18 hours.
Thanks Lenovo team for the good work and not letting down.

Device is working fine but yes there are heating issues, battery drains faster than earlier. Hope Lenovo succeeds soon to keep its user expectations.

Not satisfied with performance, heating issue, Battery drying within 4 hrs, Network problem and not connecting to internet even after showing 4g connectivity.
Will not suggest.
Is there any option to ractify or any update available to solve the above issues.

Really bad experience ...heating issue and screen freezing too frequently .
Its a new phone 2-3 months old and no heaving gaming use still ...
I will not suggest anyone to go for this phone.

I bought lenovo k8 note from kohinoor showroom the phone battery is heating and as it is just one month old phone the screen get freezed, when i dial a number it connected to another number, not at all good i will suggest never buy lenovo k8 phone.

This is wrost cell Lenovo k8 note battery not stay only 2hour then charging is nill after 2hour and take to full charge 5,6 hour.this phone also network problem.battery is west in this cell phone.pls provide best update within 1week.

After the new update the phone is working good. There is no heating and no battery drain. Finally !! Battery back up is really good now.

This mobile is bloody waste
Please don't waste your money by buying this mobile
It has worst battery backup and heating like anything.
