I purchased Lenovo K8 Note for Rs6500 two year back. Last week I downloaded and installed the software from Lenovo Rescue and Smart Assistant but my Phone went dead. Today I visited their Service Centre here in Rohini, New Delhi and was shocked when they told me that the Mother Board if faulty and the COST is around Rs8000/=

All my audio songs were stored in file manager and they were playing alright till a fortnight back.suddenly they have stopped playing and the message i get is ' no application available'. How to go about.can anybody guide me.

Please don't purchase any Lenovo mobile. I had purchased Lenovo k8 note last year but now the phone automatically switch off multiple times in a day. No service center could solve this. Trust me I have tried. The best thing you could do is not to buy Lenovo phones again.

Exactly similar problem ( Works only when charger is connected ) I was facing for last 6 moths .My Phone is 18 Months old . I also got same Reply from Service centre ." Mother Board needs to be Replaced and will cost Rs. 6500 /- "
Company needs to own the Responsibility and get the Problem solved for millions of Customers who have trusted Lenovo .

I was using this phone for around 3 years without any problems. My problems started from two weeks. It suddenly began to switch off itself. A private service in Shimoga, Karnataka centre told it is battery problem. But, the authorized service centre told that it is a common problem in this model. Mother board issues and can't be rectified. I was unable to believe as everything was normal just two weeks ago. If you keep it for charging, you do not face this problem of switch off or restart. But, if you remove from charging, the problem persists. The company should own responsibility and should never manufacture such faulty sets. Sad. I won't go for Lenovo in future.

It restarts automatically , I have been facing such issue since 4 months , service center replaced battery n suboard but it still restarts !!

Lenovo K8 handset Phone getting handged frequently ...when taken to lenovo service center
they straight away say this model has manufacturing defect of mother board issue.
I have lost my money by buying this model ....hope lenovo will take corrective action to avoid such negative customer experience

wow!! phone started restarting and on customer care center got reply it is having motherboard issue and cost of repair is more than Phone's cost.Amazing isn't it. Searching on internet I found i am not the only one with same issue in phone.My concern is Lenovo at all taking any responsibility? Solving issue? Surely My last Lenovo Phone.

Keeps on rebooting.. Lenovo service centre tells it happens in this mobile.. Board issue.... Then for what they have kept a service centre.... To reply us.. Board issue and we can't repair.... Then why you people sell this mobile and cheat customers....

I have been using this phone since 2016 and haven't encountered any problems . I upgraded to a Samsung galaxy m30s but there are somethings that makes this phone a option to consider. 1st one being the deca core processor. 2nd one being the speakers they are better than the m30s. I have encountered my phone restarting on its own once or twice. It also heats up alot post Andriod 10 update . Especially during intense gaming sessions. I got rid of the problem by simply reinstalling the game. Otherwise it is yet a phone to consider in 2020

I had throw m... moreTrue brother, very bad product. in every lenovo mobile ,after one year problems arised. in my circle every person who purchased lenovo face mother board problem. my lenovo k8 note mother also need to be replaced. even within one year from purchase.
