And change to something that suits me more... I love gaming. Much more than photography. So with actually having a proper gaming phone... Wow... Just try it... Experience is more than words. I have a red magic. But Lenovo are onto something here big time... I like black shark 3 Pro... Awesome phone... And waiting for my arch rival. Which I admire a lot... RoG phone III

Well 300£ for it and i'd buy it. Doesn't look like it can do anything else than game so only the cpu and screen costs. Ok 400£ but not more

Rk100, 17 May 2020Quick correction, i do not actually own a rtx 2060, it is m... moreIf you own a Quadro RTX 6000 then why do you game on SLI 1080s when the 6000 is 80% faster than a 1080? Do the drivers result in worse gaming performance? Or is it that you usually use the 6000 for rendering and use the 1080s for gaming while that's happening?
And if mine can't run games at 144hz then that means it's hard to run games at 144hz. It's a 1070. Most people have 1060s or worse. (steam hardware survey) And the whole reason we're talking about this is because people seem to think phones can handle gaming at high refresh rates. So at best that's 1/6 the performance of my 1070 which itself can't handle 144hz.

joe nodden, 17 May 2020"have you ever actually run PC games at 144hz?" No not at 1... moreAlso at what point did I try to go against the idea that the SD865 can handle 144hz at 1440p, I never actually disagreed with you on that, i was specifically talking about PC gaming. So don't make it sound like I was 'proving' your point, I wasn't.

joe nodden, 17 May 2020"have you ever actually run PC games at 144hz?" No not at 1... moreQuick correction, i do not actually own a rtx 2060, it is my younger brothers, my set up includes a quadro RTX 6000, but that is my workstation, the one i game on is a gtx 1080 in SLI, so yours can't run games on 144hz but my can. But that doesn't change the fact that it is not hard to run games at 144hz in 1080p or even QHD.

Rk100, 16 May 2020OK, but have you ever actually run PC games at 144hz? What ... more"have you ever actually run PC games at 144hz?" No not at 144hz. Because my PC isn't capable of that unless I turn down the settings which I ain't doing. (Even with my GTX 1070)
"I have a solid PC" "my RTX 2060" Ah so you have a PC that performs almost the same as mine. (7% faster GPU-wise but you get the idea.) And I know for a fact mine can't handle high refresh rates without turning down the settings. 7% isn't gonna change that.
"A lot of games that I play can hit over 180fps" No not unless you're playing games that run on a potato like CS:GO. Or turning down the settings a ton in other more demanding games. Not even the easy to run Overwatch will hit that unless you turn down the settings at 1080p.
"I don't think you have ever actually used a high refresh rate monitor with a gaming PC" Eh, my monitor is 75hz so it doesn't really count, but the fact that my monitor ain't 240hz doesn't change the fact that I would rather enjoy the graphics of the games I play at 75 fps than make them potato level and hit 240 fps. And I'm pretty sure everyone else who isn't a pathetic tryhard "mobile gamer" would agree. Because phones right now can only handle potato graphics that need to be improved before the refresh rate.
"I have built many PC's over the years and a lot of budget PC's and all of them were able to push out solid frame rate on a high refresh rate monitor." At lowered settings as I've been saying.
"Recently my RTX 2060 can easily push out 265fps on csgo." HAHAHAHA SPEAK OF THE DEVIL! Oh lord I knew you'd try to pull that card. Trying to use the easiest game to run as proof that. Oh that's comedy gold right there. Can't make this stuff up.
"But what I don't understand is that how are people thinking that the SD865 can actually handle 144hz and 1440p gaming, new flash it Can't." Wow thanks for proving my point.
"What also got me laughing is people who actually think the SD865's graphics is good as or even better than an XBOX, like really?" The Xbox One's GPU hits 1.31 TFLOPS. The SD865's GPU hits 1.27 TFLOPS. They're equals.
