joe nodden, 11 May 2020Why do I have to constantly explain this to you people. It'... moreOK, but have you ever actually run PC games at 144hz? What do you mean PC can hardly run games 144hz? I have a solid PC with a 240hz (1080p) and a 120hz (1440p) monitors and all my games run smooth AF. A lot of games that I play can hit over 180fps (meaning 180hz). And i did testing and NO my pc doesn't 'bearly' run pc games at a high refresh rate. It runs absolutely beautifully. I don't think you have ever actually used a high refresh rate monitor with a gaming PC, if you have then you would understood that it is not hard at all for a gaming or even a normal pc to handle. I have built many PC's over the years and a lot of budget PC's and all of them were able to push out solid frame rate on a high refresh rate monitor. Recently my RTX 2060 can easily push out 265fps on csgo. And 240hz monitor was able to push out 240fps without any problems whats so ever.

Great phone and all but, there are no great games that you can play for years on mobile like there are on PC, also the price is almost equal to a serious gaming PC, I'm sorry but other than a few E-Sports players nobody will buy this (and spoiled kids ofc) because it's waay too expensive. There is no reason not to buy some Nubia and buy this other than what I said before.

Desktops themselves barely have the horsepower to run games at 144hz, and they're vastly more powerful than phones. Phones lower the graphics a ton because they're so much less powerful. So what should phones focus on first? You guessed it! Graphics! Which means they can't handle high refresh rates!
That is why I compare them. It's so easy to understand yet you people still feel like arguing with me.

Desktop graphics have a larger space to put more powerful graphics. The mobile phone is made to be mobile. It has less space to put the things necessary for graphics as good as desktops.

You don't compare Desktop graphics with mobile graphics. 1440p graphics on mobile are not like 1440p graphics on pc because mobile graphics are totally different to desktop graphics.

Besides your facts are true about Adreno 650 isn't powerful but Future phone Processors and GPU's will. There is no difference. Y'know why? Because PHONES AREN'T POWERFUL ENOUGH! Several other areas of graphics are crippled just to get certain games to run on phones. It's like how running super mario 64 at 8k isn't gonna make it look good. There's a reason I use a 1080p display with my gaming PC. (Well it's 1080x2560 but you get my point) It's because not even my GTX 1070 that performs several times better than the SD865's GPU is capable of doing proper 1440p gaming. Not unless I turn down settings which defeats the purpose of a higher resolution. Oh, and it sure as heck ain't blurry. You have your vision to blame if you find 1080p blurry. Let alone "foggy". Whatever that's supposed to mean.

I think you haven't tried to play one how 1440p display vs 1080p display will impact your graphic performance? such as blurry and foggy screen. I'm using the S10+ and it's perfect. B'cause here in States... Samsung is using the Snapdragon version. I can't wait to try this one!

Here we are, in 2020, where smartphones have 1440p 144hz OLED displays, yet 1080p 144hz LCD monitors cost $160 at minimum.

I believe that the pop up camera is an advantage for live streamers. The design is unique in an ugly way. Nice try though. Will wait for the review and we'll see.
