Guys, If you use your Lenovo P2 with Monese and/or Curve apps, can you please tell do you have push notification sound from those apps (when making transactions for example)? I have this weird issue, that there is no sound for push notifications from those apps and also LED does not light up when they come. Please also wrote what android version do you use (6.x or 7.x) and what model do you have P2a42 or P2c72 ? I am still on 6.0.1, becouse not sure if updating to 7.x will do any good to overall performance. But if that fixes push notification sound/led issue for those apps, I might consider to do so.

Currently I am on 219th charge for my P2 and battery life starts to get worse. Now its starting steadily decrease to 3 days (from 100% to ~15% discharge). I can still pull 4 days but then it will decrease from 100% to 0). That is with switching phone off during night.
So yeah... options are:
1) Do nothing and wait till battery gets completely worse.
2) Order new battery from China and hope its original and change it somewhere in repair center and hope phone screen not gets damaged in process.
3) Order new P2 (yes its still possible, but overall price will be same or more than 3 years ago). Sadly Lenovo dont care about updates, so you can get only android 7 officially.
4) Get other new phone (I am looking but still not found anything I would completely like).
I mean P2 is unique in many ways:
1. Battery is epic
2. No camera bump at all !!!!!!
3. Physical switch for power saving mode
4. Physical button/fingerprint reader which acts as back button with single press or takes you to home screen when pressed.
5. Not power hungry CPU.
6. Just "right" size of screen (phone not too big overall)
7. Does have NFC
8. Great working GPS.
9. Durable screen (mine fell at least few times, so far so good).

It is good durable phone. I am using it from last 3years. It's battery timing is exceptional. Due to this I am loving it. It body and screen it very strong. It drops from my hands several times, but luckily nothing happens.
Its processors power is very good for day to day usage.
One down side on the bottom left corner may be there is bump in the seen due to this glass protector does attach very well. But it doesn't feel odd. Or that bump or ditch I can't feel from eyes or ever hands.
But overall it a great phone. Battery, design, performance and durability.

btw, I found 1 shop in neighbor country (~600km away), where they still sell new P2. I have temptation to buy it. Unfortunately that shop does not deliver outside their own country and it seems they accept only some local payment methods (also not available outside their own country). Price is about 330eur.

To answer question how did I tracked number of charges per year - sorry to dissapoint, but I used old-school "analogue" method - just printed calendar on A4 paper and marked with pen those days when I charged my phone. Then after year passed I counted them manually. I am doing this becouse I want to know how long in reality phone with 5000mAh+ power can last, since manufacturers started to use non-removable batteries.

2020 is here and I still dont quite see a phone which can match P2 battery wise + counting all other factors. Sadly Lenovo dont want to release P3.
Here is little info:
in 2017 I charged P2 66 times. In 2018 - 69 times, In 2019 - 75 times. Right now average time between charges - 4 days (in night time phone is switched off). In the beginning it was 5 days or more.

Update - sadly battery endurance rating (according to gsmarena test) on Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is way below expectations for 5000+ battery. So this phone is not replacement for P2.

Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro (in Europe will be released as Xiaomi Mi Note 10) looks like decent replacement for P2. Only most likely there is no LED notificaton light :(

Samsung M30s is the successor.
The funny thing, M30, and M30s both gave exact battery life, heck, M30 gave a better battery life, maybe M30s with next updates it would actually be better
In Saudi Arabia M30s is sold officially,
But Xiaomi, and Asus are not offered.
My P2 is doing great till now
1.5 days battery life with 4G, and hotspot always on, and GPS off. Great performance till now.
