i am looking for dual sim phone and is this phone really dual sim mode?i read some of the article that this phone is dual standby mode and i don't want want dual stanby mode phone.i want to use 1 sim for calling and another sim for internet. so if i am using this phone when browsing the internet using 1 sim, can another sim receive a call at that time? thnx.....

hd display vs qhd display.....but p770 has better screen quality..not cheap like a116.
1.2 ghz quad core vs 1.2 ghz dual core....p770 has a better variant of dual core so performance is more or less like a116.
2000 amp battery vs 3500 amp battery.....u cant survive full day without charging a116 twice in a day....
service is absolute pathetic of micromax.....so choose your device wisely.

Ask me Am I happy? I dont know.
i bought it through snapdeal and got it on 29th may. now its just over a month.
Battery remains for a day, but not much as two days as lot posts said about it. Its getting heated on top area ( antenna / earphone / camera area ) when using 2G/3G.
camera is just fine, but flash timing is bit bad i guess.
This phone impressed me when searching for one, given its bulky and not that heavily featured. But i really had trust on it. battery life and durability is what i needed and a hint of smartphone.
but looking back, i am unhappy. battery and heating issue is eating my mood out. service centre is 7hr train journey away and i dont think they would just replace it on its heating issue / battery not impressive as boasted issue.
Waiting it to perform, as i wont afford to buy another one :(

i just want to know whether it is dual sim mode or dual stanby mode since i am looking for a phone that is dual sim mode...i am interested in this phone somehow this features worries me....

Anonymous, 07 Jul 2013how will you disable the 3G?? please help! thanks!Under 'setting','wireless&networks', below 'data usage' touch 'more','mobile network','network mode', touch 'your telco provider name', select 'GSM only' if u want 2G coverage only and disable the 3G (applicable only when entering 2G coverage area or when your 3G symbol is not displayed,and u wish to surf the internet, albeit wiz slow speed). select 'WCDMA only' if u want to 3G coverage only and disable the 2G(i keep this setting to boost the 'you tube' streaming speed in 3G coverage area). choose'GSM/WCDMA' auto only, if u want to keep both 2G and 3G coverage (when i keep this setting will make my device to slow in surfing the internet or intermittently unable to watch the 'you tube').

PK, 21 Jun 2013i have heard P770 has camera problem and Flash doesn't fire... moreI hv no problem wiz the camera & no lagging of flash noted. Works fine so far. Video recording also okay, though sometimes it will struggle to focus on the object we are trying to shoot and the worst thing is NO zooming function available while recording the video.

kuldeep, 06 Jul 2013Have automatic call recording facility in Lenovo 770 ??No auto call recording, but it has 'record' symbol located on the left of the slightly bottom of the screen which will become active (changed to cyan color), when your call able to got thru, for us to touch it, whenever we want to record or stop the recording our phone conversation.

cris, 06 Jul 2013does this unit have LTE for faster internet browsing?There is no LTE for this device. It only support 2G and 3G max. Nil support for 4G, as far as i know.

Anonymous, 25 Jun 2013I've been using the phone for a few months now, and have to... moreGPS acquisition for this device is not so good compared wiz other device like samsung galaxy S4, due to lack of sensors such as compass or magnetometer and gyro. Try download 'inViu GPS' apps from google playstore, to monitor your gps signal acquisition signal bar when turning on your GPS. GPS signal logged on indicated by blue or yellow bars. Logged on will be much quicker wiz NO high rise building surround, stationary, cloudless sky, and 'data connection' switched on. it will logged on in less then 1 minute or the worst under 4 minutes. Ignore this rule and u will never ever get a log on.
