then can i go for lenovo?
one more doubt some users in this site saying that there is no google,play store preinstalled in lenovo p770. and somebody saying youtube working slowly.
videos are being played slowly.
is that true

nagesh, 10 Jun 2013can anybody suggest me to buy which fone is better in perfo... moreJust go and buy lenovo p770 without any 2nd thoughts because of following reasons.
1. s advance has got only 4 inches screen and it has wvga resolution..that is not very good and also it has very average battery life..ie just 1500 map as compare to monstrous 3500 mamp battery
2. dont ever fall in the trap of buying canvas a116 because the hardware that micromax use is very cheap and it is cortex a5 which is nearly equal to cortex a9 dual core of lenovo p770.and u have to charge a116 2 times a day because it is having very pathetic battery life..and it is very big in size...i mean really big...holding such a big device looks crap in ones hands.
lenovo p770 is a beast of a smartphone which has got looks,style,power and performance.

Did anyone here update their P770 to the latest firmware : p770_ROW_S113_130424 ??
What are the changes that the new firmware brings in ?
Is it advisable to update to the new firmware ?

I am using Lenovo P770 since March 2013. Performance, Touch, Sound, Battery, etc. all is good. A decent Smartphone for professionals. I considered buying this phone seeing its look, battery capacity & brand name Lenovo and am happy to say that i made the right choice.

lenovo has better sound ,better after sales service , and far far better battery life than micromax. moreover it has direct usb support via otg cable..not available in micromax
Micromax has slightly better display,better camera
as far as day to day performance(speed) is concerned there is no difference between the two but if u play highend games on papers micromax should perform better since its quadcore.
Micromax also looks better than lenovo.
still i ll suggest u to go for lenovo..because without a good battery life all other features are useless..... its very irritating to charge your mobile every 8hours

using this phone from 29th may. I would really appreciate guys if you can share the battery stats *( menu > Lenovo PowerSaving)* at full charge and at certain charge levels
It would greatly help me know my phone performance, as i shared earlier, is making me feel the battery is not performing as impressive as some of opinions posted here.
at present, my phone status is Level : 43% Standby available 200h27m Call available : 3h39m WLAN 5h22m GPRS 3h573 music: 7h45m video : 4h25m under Long Standby Mode.
at full charge ( 100% / 99%) my phone shows only around 8h call available.
please share your views and experiences

shopping on infibeam ,within three days product arrived to my doorstep. why i am adding this line because ,as a regular online shopper ,i was searching and eyeing for this phone before launch in india ,this phone was released on ebay and i bought it from there ,it took one month for the ebay seller to say product not avialable after my purchase,and ebay added to confusion by delaying repayment by three months ,never again on that site .
now the phone- dual sim,3500mah -mammoth battery,preloaded apps for professionals ,good sound .if u are like me and u want simple all time connectivity with good battery back up and dual sim and u dont want to carry geometry box like samsung note or galaxy,this is a good budget phone for professional

superb battery.! smooth, fast and fluid experience. no issues at all.. btw, my samsung headphones works just fine.. i don’t know why you guys facing some problems...

dg /p770, 05 Jun 2013(And the guys who really have experienced the battery power... moresimple charging.i charge it when it goes below 30%.if u drain more than that then charging time increases.from 30% it takes 2hours approx and my charging goes to 100% rather than 99% as told by many.
