I will keep commenting until ... morei am using one . the only problem i'm facing is that my phone doesnt work smooth like it used to and it keeps on lag and not responding. btw, how do you compare the fake and the original ? cause they both looks the same and doesnt make much differences . and one last thing, is it okay if i didnt upgrade the firmware/software ? i tried few times but ended up failed during installation . any idea how to solve it ?

It is very bad phone...i m facing network issue..and also unable to uninstall application... as i reset this phone all the apps automatically installed.... and thare is NO MEMORY CARD SLOT....I have very bad experience of this phone...pls dont buy .....

I bought Lenovo s850 in the month of the Feb 14th, Its just a Awesome cell phone super good processor, Qualtiy Camera both front and rear, i am having 2 launchers other than lenovo running it never hangs anywhere. i havent faced any issues mentioned above it only heats up wen i play games for more than 2 hours but tht doesnt matter it is just a great budget cell phone in month of Feb.
Friends only suggestion "Never buy/Purchase any product if you are getting for less price unless it is Geninue, Friends shop or during the discounts etc... always buy retail or in Geniune shop/dealer ."

It's an awesome experience using one of this!

My phone is suddenly off and on by itself ad soon as I want to open my mobile data or connect to internet.
Is anyone having the same problem as mine?

levono S850 is a very bad phone especially the contact manager. I have done many times factory reset hoping it can stop the contact many manager from hanging but still it hangs every minute.

I'm commenting on this again. I will keep commenting until people understand. Many of you facing network issue. Probably you bought a fake version of the phone. To elaborate this, the phone you bought may be used, or already broken. Buy the original version, you may not have those issues.
Lenovo s850 is low priced and great in general. I just love it! Camera, battery life and display are the best in this device.

Never faced any such issues. I just bought my phone like 2 weeks back, it is working perfectly fine. Is yours brand new or old? Or is it a used phone which you bought? Try resetting the phone to factory settings to solve the issue. If a factory reset doesn't solve the issue, don't download any apps and reboot phone to safe mode. (To reboot to safe mode, hold power button, tap and hold the power off option for few seconds until you are asked to reboot). Safe mode disables third party apps. If a factory reset with safe mode doesn't work, then it is probably a hardware issue IMHO.
Anyways, overall I think it is a great phone. Bought it in Sharaf DG, UAE and returned to India. It is a low price (around AED 600), and it is an amazing phone for such a small price. Great camera, display + battery life etc. Guys, please buy this, it is not the best phone but it is great for such a small price.

i always have network problem while in india. never got 3G internet conection eventho i purchased it. always need to reboot my phone in order to get internet connection. signal also always only few bars. my friends who also used same model like me complained same thing.

I bought this phone around 1-2 weeks ago and I didn't have any problems like some of the opinions... I really do love this phone and whenever I play high end games it just goes smoothly .. The battery life is okay but the charging part is a little long but maybe because I was using the phone..camera is really good..I bought the limited edition pinksh purple and it looks awesome..I recommen people who are interested in this phone to buy it if you have a low budget...I'm from Malaysia and the network works fine .. Maybe some of you might have the imitation ones..however I am not sure about the customer service ..

Im using S850 for 6months but no problem with the network, I read a lot of comment regarding the network problem and battery. Make sure you but the original Lenovo phone. Like here is Saudi all product delivered in the kingdom are original and no imitation.

The phone is really good. but i'm facing a small problem where am not able to focus my camera while its on video mode. i kept on tapping but i just wont focus. if there's anyone out there who faced the same problem and knows how to solve it. please do let me know.
