Hi.just root my phone using vroot.work very well and managed to delete some stock apps.overall good phone.

miss j, 10 Feb 2014any one knows how to use the superuser?For original/normal people with superuser access, you don't need to 'use' it like an apps... it works like a gate or granting manager when you install some apps that required 'root' as an option.
Superuser: like a administrator or you have a complete control on your machine, in this case, your phone. The more control you to the phone, as you can do anything, change it, use it, change it again.. ect...ect..
Root -superuser- is really useful for "supermen" who like to fly away out of their boundary as long as they know how to fly, where to fly and how to land it safely. As for us -original people with superuser access- hopefully we don't damage the system inside :P
Example: as simple as changing font --> some font apps need root phone so when you install that apps, there will be superuser box asking for granted that installation. You just need to click 'granted' or 'OK'... something like that...
That's all we do! If you want to do MORE, make sure you know what are you doing.. or else...? :D

Another thing,i... moreDon't know why you're facing so many issues buddy. Mine is working just perfectly even though mine is also an AP set. No problems with charging, predictive text, sd card installation etc etc.
I've been playing high end games like Injustice, Asphalt 8, GTA etc non-stop without lag/crash, not to mention the amazing dual speakers.
Bottom line, I'm very happy with this phone.

I tried that also but cannot.. but you can make a folder to loop in the apps in your selected desire name, such as network, media, social, tools, games... depending on you like :).
Looks more neat [at least to me]...
How to do?
1. click and hold 1 apps, example like "Whatsapp"
2. bring it to "WeChat" icon, it will automatically create a folder.
3. Then you can drag in other chat apps or any icon you like into that folder.
4. To un-crate the folder, you just need to drag out back all apps, out of the box.

I have a problem which is system language was in chinese? In setting already changed to english but in some applications it still shows chinese language..
for whatsapp & we chat, the notification sometimes didn't appear..
besides the time always suddenly stop and i need to go back to the setting to refreshed back the time..any solutions??

Another thing,is your backup to SD card function working? Mine doesnt. It says "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped."
So unstable lah this phone!

1. Need to off phone for fast charging. At night left it on while charging but power increased by 18% only after 7 hours!!
I went to shop again for 2nd battery change. Was told that some other customers have same battery issues. Apparently same production batch with mine. They will give me replacement battery.
2. Predictive text - already managed to turn it off. Finally...
3. Youtube - I didn't do anything but now the video quality is much much better. Auto update JAVA perhaps?
4. But some video streaming still doesn't work. Tried opening it using Firefox etc. instead of Chrome but still doesn't work.

John5, 06 Feb 2014Bought it for MYR769 (AP with 2 years warranty) abt a week ... moremy lenovo S930 have no battery charging problem.....your phone much cheaper in price.....maybe is a faulty phone....ask for one to one exchange

i use s930 from 6/2/14. import set from china price rm765. i just know it rooted coz i see coment bout superuser n i have 1. mine problem battry not good enough from full charge to 90% so fast but lucky still can use about 6hour then left 5%. then 2nd problem bout notification wechat n whatsapp. i just get chat if i open the app if not i cant see new chat. but sometime i get the notification. so far i love this phone cheap n big n not so bad.

Yes, I have S... moreSo your phone is rooted. If you browse through Play store, u can find certain apps require rooted device. But I doubt u would really need 1.....
Anyways, predictive text is in Keyboard & input tab in the all settings tab. Just turn off the word suggestions and what not. Even better, download a keyboard app from play store that'll suit ur taste....Iphone keyboard would suit ur taste i think.

Yes, I have Superuser icon but don't really know how what it is for.
I have also not been able to turn off predictive text. Not as simple as my Note 1. Can assist?
