In Germany at Saturn.de the price for the 8" will be 299 euro (339 dollar) and the 10" 399 euro (452 dollar) that is for the 64GB with 4GB ram. Shipping starts in 5 weeks.

they're currently delaying this until august coz Snapdragon 625 will be kinda outdated chip(right now 625 is still classified as premium midrange SoC) and probably it will be more cheaper since SD 630 and 660 will be the norm! so in that time they can mass produce this.... (SIGHS)

unfortunately, the xiami has no GSM
so, the only alternative seams to be the Huawei M3.

I think I'll buy whichever comes first in a store nearby. Due to possible warranty issues I don't like buying hardware from online vendors without any local brick and mortar presence.
