Joy, 06 Aug 2016I got this phone about two months back, and now the company... moreIts all good. The 3gb ram comes with higher price just like with all phones. More ram means more money. Just like redmi note 3, the 2gb ram is cheaper than the 3gm ram one. Hence just look it that way incase you're regretting. People would still buy both versions regardless of the price.

I got this phone about two months back, and now the company offers an upgraded version with 3GB RAM and with a greater storage facility at the same price within months of its first release. Was it a mistake to buy it beforehand and get lesser in return?
The company, unless offers a free upgrade to previous customers, I would understand, they experimented at our cost and realised 3GB is the optimum RAM required for this phone to perform smoothly while multitasking. We all have experienced, there is an issue with RAM management with the previous 2GB RAM version.

Need to fix software bugs.
Screen display is not switching off automatically for some times and Clear frequent contacts function is not enable after clearing the contacts. Need to restart the phone for enable the functions.
