Nice design and fare price, maybe cheapest 5inch fhd phone. Lost to redmi 3 in term of dimensions and battery. In this price point just get a phone with mtk processor better than the sd616.

I purchased lenovo k5 plus last week but purchase date to today only 8 days for using this phone. It is very very heating problem so I request company to recall all sales mobile and replace new heating problem solved mobile.or I have asked for refund my money from flipcart.

I purchased Lenovo vibe K5 plus on 30th March because of its specifications. but after using phone only for 15 days I have observed that even for phone call it is getting heated up like anything. it is difficult to talk even for 10 minutes as the phone is heated and the voice is becoming all noisy. this is when not even playing games. if the basic QoS is not observed it is becoming difficult to use. I have asked for refund from flipcart.

guys the heating effect is not Lenovo's fault , it is snapdragon's fault
most of 2015 snapdragon processors suffered from overheating issues
Snapdragon 810 , snapdragon 615 in particular..
you will find all phones sporting these 2 processors to heat up significantly nomatter what the brand is
Snapdragon 616 is just a slightly modified snapdragon 615 hence the same heating issue.. so this will be present .. the phone does not heat much in normal usage so if you are going to use it for normal usage this phone is perfect
there have been 3 updates till now
1st was good , it reduced heating issue
2nd update was bad and it increased heating issues
today there was a 3rd update that has again brought down the temperatures slightly ( 58 mb )
if i were Lenovo i would give users the option to disable the 2 cores totally and use it as a hexacore .. will make everybody happy as there won't be much significant performance drop plus less heating and extra battery life
for camera use Open camera app.. it is much better .. front camera performance is similar to Samsung J and E series phones ...
