hi i have vibe shot after update 6.0.1 im facing sound & notification related problem.
some time after restart issue is solve but again problem start after few hours
please suggest if any solution or update

Anonymous, 14 Aug 2016Factory reset...Find and used Kingoroot and root your phone, after it shows you is rooted try uninstall again

How it's ... moreMuch better do not update just stay in lollipop operating system than marshmallow i have also a problem with my vibe shot. Since i updated from lollipop to marsmallow my mobile easily battery drain and auto-restart and sometimes it very stupid hung and there is a lot of bugs. Unlike before i was using lollipop 5.0.1 in lenovo vibe shot is very good and very smooth fast and there is no issue for the lollipop 5.0.1. Sometimes i wonder i want to return it back to lollipop but i don't know how to downgrade.

It also has super saver mode which just keeps basic functions (call, sms and alarm) on. Only function lost is, now you can not schedule super saver mode as you could do in android 5.0.1.
PS: you could get my device if you want it.

My vibe shot is still running on Lolipop 5.1.1, no upgrade is coming from Lenovo.
Daily I am checking at System Update, but no update or upgrade is available.
I bought this phone "Lenovo Vibe Shot" from the "Do store" in India, this is also a lenovo's online store in India.
It seems they have given me the custom ROM phone. Don't know, if I would be ever be using the Marshmallow on this Vibe shot or not. Still awaiting..............

I have imported this phone and using it since last one week, it came with Lollipop which was laggy and slow and had minor bugs. I later on upgraded to Marshmallow. After update, it has gone really fast smooth and stable, and there are no bugs as people are complaining on different forums.
Its A Superb fone, highly recommended.

For all the users of Lenovo Vibe Shot who have upgraded their phone to Marshmallow/also who are still on Lollipop, could you please confirm if you have a Batter Saver function available when you go to Settings->Device->Power Manager-> Battery Saver? When you turn it on you status bar(topmost line on your phone should turn into orange colour).This is a very useful feature as part of Lenovo's Android 6.0 version. It helps in saving phone's battery even when the internet is on, through mobile data or wifi, it does not allow applications keep connected to the internet always/all the time,any application only when you open it,connects that app to the internet & then sends its notifications, for eg. If mobile data is on, and whatsapp is running in the backgound you will not get popup or notifications in the status bar unless you open Whatsapp by clicking on it. I am currently using Lenovo K4 note phone which has this feature. I always wanted to buy Lenovo Vibe Shot, but due to some reasons I had to use K4 Note, which I am not comfortable with due to large 5.5 screen :(. Please share your feedback as I am still planning to buy this phone for my father. Another challenge that I am facing is unavailability of this phone in Mumbai, none of the stores has this phone available & the only option is buying through onlibe websites which I do not prefer as this phone is now decommissioned & no more shipped by Lenovo.

i like this mobile very much by its style & look...but i found many negative feedbacks...so kindly give your suggestions to me...buy this phone or dont??? if buy, where can i buy it from India online. But not from China!!!

Lenovo Vibe Shot or Redmi MI Note 3 (32 GB)
Plz help...though Vibe shot is 1 yr old now but features are not bad and looks are just superb and price 10500 around... Whereas MI note 3 lacks good looks like vibe shot but have features like fingerprint sensor and gyroscope and pricing 12000.
I've used scrren 5.7 inces in my last fone so fot comparing that please suggest the best buy.
